I know everyone is busy but next time don't just take the time to thank a vet but visit with one. I don't know if its just me and the way I was brought up but I love visiting with older people. You hear the most amazing stories and can really have a good time,I've never laughed so hard. Especially when they get on the if they were 30/40 years younger. lol lol You can usually find them having coffee somewhere in the morning and wearing caps with their branch of service.

I'm thinking of taking on a 3,200 mile road trip. Last time I did it there were 5 drivers and 2 dogs. This time just me and my bulldog. Trying to get a realistic view on this. How many hours I could really drive in a day. Stops along the way,not doing the tourist thing at all. Safety is a big thing. Its not like I can take a tazer into Canada. The US part doesn't bother me but driving the AL-CAN and the long stretches of nothing is a big iffy. The other option is driving to Minot,ND possibly catching a military hop there if they'll allow my dog on board and then paying for my SUV to be shipped. Flying commercial and having my bulldog fly just scares me. Bulldogs cannot take the heat and I worry about her in the plane. Anyone else take a solo trip like this?? Even though a c-section probably saved not only my and my twins life and my moms, I'll admit that's not what I think of. My desicion comes from watching my older"sis" give birth and uuuumm dang I mean come on !! Dang !!! Giving birth is like super hero status in my book!! I know it sounds stupid but all I can think of is "did you just see that?, did you see where that came out? Holy shit! How is that possible?" I'm still in shock and its been a couple years. I'm the biggest baby when it comes to pain, and I've seen one of my nephews born. Holy Crap!!! Having an 7lb. baby coming out of there?? I had a harder time watching him be born then my Sis. lol uuummm yeah I'm good not to go through that. Also, my mom went through a C-section twice and did great. Even if she does refuse to walk more then 10 feet at a time, unless its to her food bowl or I tell her we're going to Dunkin Donuts, and she snores and has the worse gas I have every known a dog to have!
