    When I made that statement I was referring to that no matter what the evidence is or how overwhelming,everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. That's our legal system and yes I agree with and support that. But it also can be hell on victims. Yes, innocent people get accused and I'm sorry they do it makes it a thousand times harder on those that are real victims of crimes.     Go outside my comfort zone ??? Walk in the shoes of someone that has been raped. The examples you give are bullshit reports but does it call for the statement you made NO it doesn't. A woman that is raped is questioned continually. Everything she did leading up to that point is questioned from the way she walks,dresses,to everything she said or did.     How am I judging them? Judging: if I'm telling them they are a horrible person for having an abortion then yes I am. But, saying I wish they hadn't felt the need to have an abortion is by no means judging them. I truly feel sorry for the woman and the baby that died. No this is the forum to discuss politics, but what I'm trying to have people understand is that lets look past the your part of this party and I'm part of that party and say I don't give a crap what party your apart of lets work together and do something about the real issue.     I think it came from someone that hasn't spent much time with anyone or any group connected to women that have gone through this. Yes, its sad that he made the comment it really is, its also sad that everyone jumps on the trash talking political band wagon instead of seeing it as someone clueless to the issue just like so many are.     I'm sorry I didn't look back far enough to see your thread. What do I suggest? That we stop talking about what Political Party this person belongs to and realize that its just another person that made an ignorant remark regarding rape as so many have. Then concentrate our efforts NOT on the Politics but on getting women the help they need and trying to help stop this disgusting act.     Yes, I am pro-life. But, since when does rape become about a certain political party? My goodness, again its about the politics instead of about what can be done to help and support women and not only them but their partners. While, everyone is focused on the politics and trash talk and furthering their own parties, women are going without support and help. Dang,we're talking about real people here!! Are there people out there that need a better understanding of this issue YES! But, how about helping them with that instead of trash talking and politics.
