hmm...I've never been on a blind date, but I have been offered..()...Personally, I like the idea of drinks on the first date that way there if things don't go so well, you can leave. Also, eating can be uncomfortable when you are trying to get to know someone...flowers for a blind date, for someone that you don't know, are a bit over the top...first dates sure, in my opinion, if you have gotten to know them first. Be yourself, don't be nervous (yeah right), open doors for her and don't make any sexual innuendos. The last guy I went out with was a perfect gentleman in that respect, and it made me have more respect for him...I recently met someone for the first time and no sexual innuendos there either. I was blown away...(and he did ask me out afterwards, so it is not like he is gay or anything...)As for after dinner...taking a walk together is always nice, and a good way to get to know one another... now you've got me thinking...go easy on the whole cologne thing. Fresh from the shower smell is good, if you are going to wear cologne, try the girl trick of spraying it and then walking into it so it is subtle. You don't know what she likes yet. If she likes it, it will leave her wanting more...

So finally at 3:30 our parking lot is clear! whew...only took 14 hours... Here is the lot that I was in charge of clearing...a bit of perspective-the dumpster fence is over 10 ft tall. And the other is a pic of my favorite park in town that I took at lunch.

I had to park in a dif. parking lot last night so my crabby maintenance man could plow my parking lot...anyway, the town had plowed the road behind me and this morning I had to dig out of a snowbank taller than the car...the only saving grace was it was so beautiful with the bright moon reflecting off of the ice on the water at 5:30 and all of the stars in the sky...it was beautiful...but a pain in the ass!

Hey Dex...how much snow did you get?? I have been having a blast actually...the skies are so bright and blue and the snow is everywhere! I have been getting paid to play in the snow all morning...

because we have all been here at work since 5:30...shoveling...plowing...digging out of about 2 feet of snow!I have some really good pics of the snowbanks at home, but this is what we were faced with this morning...supposedly there are 2 rental cars in there. I was up to my hips in snow earlier...I love a day that I can wear snowboard pants to work

Take this couple I saw today in a Target near me...()...the woman screamed! at her husband in front of everyone, I was so embarrassed for him! She called him a fucking moron or soemthing like that...well, maybe he is a f*%king moron, but don't announce it to everyone! Ugh. No thanks...would never want to turn into that....I am ok being me. I do someday want that "other" in my life..if I happen to meet the right person, someone who can unabashedly be himself around me and vice versa...it's a bonus...if not, I'll be ok...but I would never settle for something less than because I don't want to be a single. I am fine company
