As I was driving down the road I saw a sign outside of a Friendly's restaurant: "FREE HAPPY ENDING WITH OPEN FACED SANDWICHES" But maybe it is just me...

There were birds in our grocery store a few years ago that would swoop little old ladies. And the bread. I thought they were great. Management wasn't too happy with them. Stuffed shirts. [shrug] During the Fall a bunch of critters would make their way into my laundry room, and I would catch them with a havahart trap before my kitties found them. I caught a mole once. It was so cute, I wanted to keep it--until it started to emit a really noxious odor.

can you open a window? Maybe it wants a cheesypoof.

I'm pooped so I will play. 1200:150:13 1200 sq feet of house packed away. 150 freaking bucks for a 3 week storage rental and lock. 13 days until I can quite possibly be jumping again

The bats around here are pretty cool. I used to sit out on the dock after the sun went down and watch them swoop the water bugs. Heck, anything that swoops is pretty cool with me

Amerie does a ballad with LL Cool J on his song Paradise.

The Giving Tree. I love that book. I still have a copy on my bookshelf. Also Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Bridge to Teribythia, Polar Express, and Where the Sidewalk Ends.

Hmm. That's a pretty good offer. But you think he would take my kitties too?? A man who likes kitties rocks!

Too late. Really, he pulled me over for no real reason. Not that he wanted to check me out or anything, I am not saying that..but once he pulled me over he saw that he was mistaken.

The only way to get around those is to bat your eyelashes real pretty at the boy behind the counter. Not that I have or anything.

I have nothing to add to the thread except to say that today, damn, I am good too. Actually, I can add somthing. I was pulled over last week. Not for speeding though. The poor cop looked like he was afraid to talk to me; he kept "honey" and "sweetie"-ing me the entire time. Then he told me to have a great day. Probably felt guilty for pulling a sweet girl such as myself over for no real reason.

unfortunately, yes. I am. I admit it. I am a DVD snob as well. I hear Jackass the movie is out..

Yes, congratulations to everyone. It is nice to see that we can all brush up on our grammar skills while mindlessly postwhoring at work. (Notice the "t" in congratulations, the "a" in grammar and the dropped "e" on postwhoring. [Kate pats herself on the back

I forget what company it was, there have been MANY it seems, but one guy was interviewing me about life insurance. He asked me what my hobbies were, and this was right after I started my AFF too, and after I rambled off a bunch of things he looked at me and told me that someone needs to take a $1mil policy out on me. I did one of these --> and asked him WTF he was trying to say. (of course, I didn't actually say "wtf", I more or less just gave him the "wtf?" eyes..) But to answer your question, if I remember correctly, the companies I spoke to (I never opted for life insurance) told me that a death from skydiving would not be covered. Pretty much like AFLAC will not cover an injury sustained during skydiving.

Well, to kind of veer off subject here, but not really..What was sad was this morning, being in my office when my friend received her last phone call from her 19 year old son before we go to war. He is a Marine, he is on the front line, and he had 5 minutes to tell her he loves her. Hearing what she was saying to him, and then seeing her fall apart when he hung up the phone had me in tears. That is what is sad, and that is happening all over our country right now.

I guess it all depends. There are some really good Microbrews here in the Northeast, (Shipyard for one, had a really good Prelude the other night)but the Northwest does have some good beer, yes. I like Fat tire personally, but haven't tried too many. Must put that on my "to do" list..visit Northwest brewpubs. I do enjoy a really good beer.

Al Roker is hosting a special on Brewpubs on Food Network at the moment..hmm.
