lol..you can keep the sub zero jumps. I'm too much of a newbie and too cold of a girl as it is..if I jumped now I would be afraid that my nips would break off in freefall

He's gay Every now and then this really nice looking rep comes down to work with me for a company that I deal with. Very clean cut, salt and pepper hair..very trendy. Nice. Anyway..I teased my boss over the summer after we first met by saying that I was going to ask him out on a date. He told me as long as he didn't see us downtown holding hands and sharing an ice cream cone, it was fine. Since then, there has been a subtle flirtation going on..(oh, I was in the area, thought I would stop in to see you..can I take you to lunch, etc.) If I have to leave him a voicemail I always tell him it is the cute little redhaired girl from such and such a company calling, and he tells me how much he looks forward to my messages. (Insert smirk.) Well anyway, he stopped in to see me today after he was finished talking to someone in the area. I told him I was expecting to hear from him on Valentines Day and I was crushed that I didn't, but he was probably spending the day with his wife in Boston. Wink wink smirk(he's not married). Well we start talking about Boston, what we like to do while we are there, oh, have you been here? you know, yayya. Anyway, he starts to tell a story about a great date that he was on--and then ends it with "and then he took us to the Ritz for drinks afterwards..." Well, there goes that. -
wow. for a second there viking I thought you were describing me

So basically in sum he is saying that in times of war our vision becomes tunneled and we are more apt to easily believe the things that could easily comfort our fears("God is on our side", "history will absolve us" and other such slogans indicate our belief that the cosmic forces are with us.), our fears stemming from the quote "Now is different from all other times. Everything hangs in the balance." Yeah, I believe that--and that same thought process can be applied to basically any other trauma in ones life that leaves them with the feeling of "Everything hanging in the balance", or saying it another way, our personal security being threatned making us feel inscure... I also believe that the media plays a HUGE portion of applying those fears and thus making peoples vision more prone to becoming tunneled. I stopped watching the major news organizations about a year ago because of their way to blow basically any minut detail about a certain subject out of proportion. I think that may be a factor in why my blood pressure remains so low. edited to say: before I get flamed I am not living my life like an ostrich with it's head in the sand, rather I take the news with a grain of salt knowing that it is almost impossible for news today to be reported unbiased..and there seems to be an intentional ratings hungry fear factor applied to their stories..

00.JPG--where was that one taken?

Oh my, that is a lotta woman! Her legs look like they were made of wax and she sat too close to a fire.
-
Yeah, and it was pretty cool too!

me thinks you should have cropped that photo before the hot fork scorches it from dz.com existance..
-
Hmm. I'm fairly certain I would have no problem forming to their front..
-
Dang! Um..Betsy...share now. It's not nice to hoard the hotties for yourself.. Kate waves..Hey handsome!

Isn't it terrible not having your own computer?? I killed mine Saturday night and a certain dz.commer is letting me borrow one of his until I can replace it. Isn't that sweet? It's not the same though. I miss my stuff terribly.

Toyotas are pretty good on gas-I loved my Celica.

What a sweet puppy. My good friend is in the midst of raising a guide dog. She seems to think he will end up being an ATF dog instead of a guide dog. He is unbelievably smart..it's going to break her heart when he has to go. I always felt bad for him though because he cannot play and be a normal pup...

I didn't thump it.

SUV's are terrible. I will take a Grand Cherokee or a Liberty every now and then for the weekend and I end up paying $40 or more for gas. Same with a Grand Caravan. Those suckers are expensive to fill! I love my zippy peppy little car. At times. (33 miles to the gallon is pretty nice though. DZ is 33.3 miles away. $3.50 rt... Not too bad.)

NH- $1.75 midgrade. For the first time in the history of my car it cost me $20 to fill the 11 gallon tank.
