  1. Way to go, Arthur! You certainly sounded beat when I spoke with you..good job, sounds like you kicked some major butt!
  2. My vote is for that hottie gorgeousdavewhatshisname.. *sigh* he's so dreamy! Aw come on..what about the PPG's? Actually, I thought the Nick Nolte avatar was priceless..
  3. Word is he was my father. Seriously though, at 25 I can remember a lot of those..I loved candy cigarettes, but the wax bottles always gave me a headache. Now Wispa bars..I *loved* Wispa bars. I thought they disappeared but someone in England sent me a bunch a few years ago..
  4. That is actually funny. I likened the targeting of these small "high threat" nations (Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria..etc) and the rebuilding of their governments by the US once to the McDonalds chain...complete with the construction of the red white and blue "golden arches" glowing a mile away..all conveniently located a quarter mile from a turnpike exit..popping up all over the world..ah..I should zip it now before I create a stir..
  5. hum..let's see. Work day ending..then hitting the gym..

    High/Low

High: 39 more days until my vacation!!! Low: left my sunroof open last night. Came to work with a wet butt.
  7. Go with the Honda over the other cars. I'm sorry, but I am partial to foreign cars, which can get a girl in trouble! Seriously though, the Corolla is a cheapy Toyota, IMO..even though I love Toyotas as well but they produce much better trucks than economy cars. I bought a brand new Civic when I graduated from school, and it was great other than being an automatic. Needless to say within a year I traded it for an Acura (5 speed :) ), which is another Honda...so now at 165,000 miles it is still just as strong! A well cared for Honda will go forever, get great gas mileage and still have a better resale value over the other cars.
  8. Did anyone ever claim the student?

  10. Dammit girl, just do it! Seriously..everytime I am conflicted I usually do it anyway thinking to myself, "If I don't do it now, I will never do it..." Go for it, go chase your dreams. Or hunt down the bastard that cut you off in traffic, whatever it is.

    Release

There is so much pent up emotion inside of me right now, I need a major release. I need to jump, scream until my lungs are sore, have a mind blowing orgasm, cry like a baby and maybe, just maybe then I will feel better. Anyone else feel that way? Wanna join me?

    Happy 4:20!!!

Oh yeah, it is Dex's 1 year anniversary!
  19. Sunny- my Lola has the Sherpa/samsonite carrier, it is soft sided and looks and carries just like luggage. I love it, other than one little sneaky thing she did to me a few weeks ago. The top unzips as well as one side, and she knew this somehow--I had the zippers meeting in the middle instead of at the end. She pushed with her nose and managed to sneak out--so if you go that route just becareful of your zipper placement! I really like the Samsonite carrier, the others are just too bulky to deal with.
  20. Glad to hear you're having a great day easter bunny!!! Just wait cuz I got a feelin' that in a couple of days your gonna have another great day!
  21. this is a very interesting thread! A lot of good points have been made, and the only point that I can add to them is that perhaps the expectations were just a bit too high. Personally online relationships confuse the heck out of me--you never know what the intent of the other persons words are..people are continually misunderstood and asumptions are constant. So I think if you have a relationship online with someone and then you meet in person, 1. the "allure" and intrigue is no longer adding the extra "spice", and two, until you can look someone in the eye, I believe at least, your perception is almost guaranteed to be off. It would take a really strong basis and proper communication about where exactly they want it to go and what exactly they are feeling for an online relationship to work "offline". Both people need to commit to put an effort into it that a normal relationship does not demand. And then there is also the chance that this is a person that is addicted to the internet and internet relationships--and in that case an offline would just not be as pleasurable for them and hence the lack of interest. Well, just my 2 cents anyway.
  22. 0:1:1 1 kickass refresher course with an awesome instructor--completely eased my apprehension from last years landing biff 1 case of beer paid in full-not sure as to why though. 0 actually consumed by me. shrug It is 7:56 pm. I am so depressed I could spit. And I have been experiencing a weird case of automotive narcolepsy lately. I am going to go lie down in my donated hostel bed and stay there until these horrible sunday blues disappear.
