I think actually we are all in agreement. Yes, maybe rationale to raise an eyebrow, but no we shouldn't be so quick to believe that maintenance will be less. At first, that was somewhat implied but then later Chris points out that his intention was to suggest that it is something to be aware of. And yes, that is true with all planes. Were not really agrueing here, but Froglady your points are well thought out and neccesary! You actually finished my point about chapter 11 that I only implied.

And I will bite back! I find it hard to believe that you were outright told that "Your opinion doesn't count", but obviously I can't dispute it. However, Having been to several boogies at CSS in the past 3 - 4 years I do know that Paul is in constant contact with the pilots. Changing the spot for wind or seperation because of issues discussed previously. Additionally, I believe it is the generalization that chapter 11 automatically means substandard maintenance. A time I recall during last years memorial day boogie. We were all waiting for the Casa, but not to get to specific (I am not a mechanic), was on the ground for work. The mechanics kept working through out the night in hopes of fixing the problem. Actually, did and several test flights were flown, however a gauge was not working. Rather, than take jumpers up and reep the monetary rewards the choice was made to keep the casa on the ground. Chris your database is a great idea, but somehow an assumption created an emotion.

How about Wallyball! It's played on a Raquetball court using a rubber/utility ball. And you get to use the walls. The rules are similar to Raquetball. Even short people can play:-)
