Since V has cornered the market on names I have nothing. But as some that has been given the okay to adopt a little furry gal (and I get her on June 14th) I raise my glass to you for being such a good mom and taking that little one in! Whatever you name her, will be perfect for her. Keep in mind she's a cat. She won't answer anyway.

Well, it's official. I have her. I can't get away from work to drive up to get her until mid-June but her foster mom is keeping her for me. So, in a few short weeks, I'll be a MOM! Whatever you do, don't overprice things. You're trying to get rid of stuff. Nothing bugs me more than going to a garage sale and finding things priced the same or a little lower than buying new. If you're getting rid of it, you no longer have a use for it. ANY amount of money is better than NO money. And put up balloons on your signs and at your house. The last garage sale I had, people found the garage (on the alley) a lot easier because of the balloons. Good luck!

JUST got an email from Boxer Rescue here in Edmonton. They're coming by to see me tomorrow night. Keeping fingers crossed!! I'll know more tomorrow and will certainly let you know!

Well, I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Bug's foster mom, Gail, today. She told me all about her and what the challenges are going to be (mostly separation anxiety but Gail said that after having Bug with her for the last 2 months, that has almost completely stopped - she's adjusting really well). She's going to tee up a home visit with the Alberta Rescue folks for me. Gail did say that after talking to me today, she'd be willing to waive the home visit and just have me come to Quesnel and get Bug. I told her that I wanted HER to be comfortable with where Bug was going to be living and to arrange the home visit. That way she could be sure. So, looks like if everything goes well when they visit, I'll have a new "daughter"!
