Yep. Nearsighted. About -3.75 in both eyes and a slight astigmatism in my right eye. I'm still having a little trouble focusing with my right eye (especially if it's dry and if I'm tired) but it's still a little swollen and hasn't healed as well as my left eye has. I have to use more drops in that eye for the next while but they're confident it'll heal up in no time! I've noticed that my vision is improving each day as it is. I had Zyoptix Wavefront Lasik (http://www.lasikmd.ca/en/lasik-md/zyoptix-custom-wavefront.html) and even the next day, I could see quite well (a little blurry but not too bad - I was driving the next afternoon!) Well, last Friday (the 19th) I went and had Lasik and boy am I HAPPY!! Today, one week later, I went for my 2nd post op and my vision is currently a little better than 20/20. There's still some healing to go and a little swelling to go down but I am FREE of glasses and contacts for the first time in about 30 years and my vision is still going to get a little better! If anyone is considering having it done, I HIGHLY recommend it! And it was nearly as scary as I thought it would be. Best $2000 I ever spent! 'Shell 'Shell

My dog (Herc) has his own cat (Teko). They get along great (well, if you consider Herc tackling Teko as getting along great!). I got Teko when he was about 9 months old and Herc was 3 years old. It took them a bit to get used to each other but now they get along fine (although Herc gets a little bent out of shape when Teko steals his bed - see attached!) It just takes time. 'Shell 'Shell
