That would so suck. Problem is, I don't have air conditioning, so I rely on fans strategically placed to get the air moving through the house. Doesn't work well when the air is 105, though...just hot air blowing around. All 6 cats are laying bellies to the sky, sprawled out on their backs, in front of the fans. One, Simon, pants like a dog at times...and he is panting now. I've put ice into their water dishes, but it doesn't help... Can't help but laugh when the cats go belly up, though. Too funny. Ciels- Michele A friend of mine has setup (on occasion) what he calls his "Ukrainian Air Conditioner". He puts a large bowl (or pail) of ice in front of the fan and the fan blows through it and cools the air as it comes through it. I laughed at first but it actually kinda works! Or, when I lived in my apartment and it was HOT up on the top floor (we don't have air conditioning in many places here in my neck of Canadia!) I would fill up a small rubbermaid container with water and sit on my balcony with my feet in it. It kept me relatively cool. Guess I'm lucky here right now. Stay cool! 'Shell 'Shell

I haven't seen it like this since the 80's. Chuck I just had to share the wonderful news. My tent trailer is setup out back if anyone wants to come visit. It sleeps 8! _____________________________________ Where I am, it was 104 today. Right now, it's cooled down to 101. You beat us by a degree! The bad part is, the humidity here has been 63 - 68%! Chuck It's a wonderful 24oC here and 35% humidity. A light breeze is blowing and there are a few puffy clouds in the sky. Forecast for the same over the next 4 or 5 days. I took a brief dip in my hot (now cold) tub to cool off. It was 30oC. Cooled me off enough to play with the dog for a bit. 'Shell 'Shell

Yep. I had to manually "get info" on each song and update it from there. Very weird as the songs appeared in my library and in the iTunes folder. But it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help, everyone! 'Shell

So, I can download tunes to my iTunes but when I go to update my iPod, only the songs that don't have an "!" beside them update to the iPod (I have an iPod nano). Is anyone familiar with using an iMac and an iPod nano that can help me out? All the tunes are in my library and play on the iMac. I'd appreciate any help! (I have to drive to LP and would really like the tunes in the Jeep!) 'Shell 'Shell
