    Dying

I say go!!!!! I strongly feel that even when they say they wouldn't know if your there, they do. And if you don't go, you'll probably regret not going when she does go. Your in my thoughts and prayers!!!!
  2. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About spit my drink right on the computer when I read that In all seriousness though, it doesn't take a piece of paper or societies support to make a relationship work.. It's the people involved that provide a stable family, whether there are children involved or not. I have friends that are gay couples and could provide a waaaaaay more stable life than a lot of those "breeders" out there. Of course that's just my .02

    Dying

MissKriss, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, even when you know it is coming it's still very hard!! I've wondered the same thing before. I can't explain it but I can understand it, if that makes sense . My grandparents are 88 and 89 and I'm fairly certain the same will happen with them. They've been married for 65 years for God's sake I'm not sure they would even know how to function without each other. Last Xmas eve I was with my gramps in the ER, his appendix had ruptured!! He was very close to dying and I could see my grandmother almost slipping away with him. It was very heartbreaking. But he made it through and physically he's better than before.
  4. Not really, but DCM is about 10 minutes from the DZ, last year I saw everyone getting ready for competition. I've thought about stopping by this past year but for whatever reason the DZ seems to win....lol.
  5. Dude, good luck with Santa Clara...They rocked way back when I was around Really, that's awesome!!!
  6. Made All State Orchestra, that was the extent of it for me. LMAO, for whatever reason I have orgy stuck in my head now after reading orchy....lol Yup, time for me to go to bed...lol
  7. When I busted my ankle my total bill was over $100,000, no kidding. 3 surgeries and lots of complications. I HAD insurance only had to pay about $300 for everything, well not counting the pharmacy bill . Although even insurance helped with that. I was on an antibiotic that ran $400 per day. Scares me to think about not having insurance. Actually I didn't jump earlier this year for that exact reason. Be safe and be responsible.
  8. OMG, I remember the Guardsman!!!!! Hadn't thought about them in forever....lol. I'm sure we did show together somewhere. Big WOHOOOO!!!! For us band geeks!! LMAO! I always wanted to be in the color guard, it seemed so much cooler.
  9. This is just something I saw on TV a long time ago, I'm not sure how much truth there is to it. They said that some women that have had surgeries that require an abdominal incision lose the ability to orgasm or having difficultly doing so. They said it had something to do with how the nerves healed. I'm not exactly sure why or how or even exactly what procedure was performed. I'm not saying that this is the case here, but after reading the thread that story popped into my head. Don't read to much into this, I'm sure I saw this on some Dateline type show and it was a story on just a few women. Whatever the problem is I'm sure you'll get through it, you seem like a really understanding guy. Good luck!!!
  10. While in Phantom Regiment I did TONS of formations...a band geeks dream...lmao This doesn't apply to you Renee or any underage posters in here...lol. But I always had some weird attraction to drummers . I know, I am a freak!!!
  11. I know what ya mean, I have a band French Horn and one from my drum corp days sitting in my closet. I've thought of selling them but I can't bring myself to do it either....#1 sign of a TRUE band geek....LOL
  12. I have to agree with the others....If it doesn't feel right....DON'T DO IT!!!! If this is truly something that you want to do you'll know when your ready. Do it in your own time. It'll be much better when YOUR ready. Hang in there girl!!!
  13. Hey us band geeks did those things to...LOL . Well maybe not the Camaro or shooting deer but definately the parties, beer and shots. Dang, I hope we're not corrupting a minor here, didn't he say he was still in school???? YIKES!!! Disclaimer: High school students and anyone under the age of 21 should never under any cicumstances consume alcohol. There's my public service announcement for the day
  14. Illinois has the same law....Children First Class. From what the gals said at work it's pretty useless as well. I think they should make people go through all this shit before marriage or kids....I bet the divorce rate would go down...lol. As well as the marriage rate Good luck with the rest of your test!
  15. Yup all 4 years in band. Played French Horn and trumpet in the jazz band. All-State Band and Orchestra for two years. Spent one horrific summer (well a couple weeks) at band camp that was totally forced on me....I still have nightmares... 5 years in a drum and bugle corps. Even won some stupid award when I graduated.....So I have a plaque that is still hanging in the school to prove I was a band geek....lol. But I was a Pom Pom girl, does that counteract any of the geekiness????
  16. LMAO!!!! Dude, I'm broke as a joke right now. Unfortunately houseboys are at the bottom of the list of priorities right now.
  17. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! For both of you: {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGES}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
  18. Dude, it's just not the single ladies out there that need a man around to fix things....lol Some men I guess just aren't inclined to do those sorts of things. I've been pushing for a houseboy for years...lol Still haven't gotten one ...lol.
  19. Join the club sister, read all the threads on having colds lately. Just drink heavily and get a good nights sleep, that's my plan. Get better soon!!!
  20. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like i'm not getting laid anytime soon. Dude, thanks for making me laugh, I needed it tonight!!!
  21. PDS, I think that your last pic on there was hilarious!!!!!!!!! Of course that all depends on your mood, right? As for those belly shirts with the belly rings showing, I have to agree with you 100%. Today I tried on one of those mini denim skirts (I mean mini, they always look longer on the hanger) with a belly shirt.....My first thought.....ABSOLUTELY NOT, my second thought.....Damn, I am way to old to be wearing this...turning point in my life, I've never said that before So I'm totally against those damn girls that wear those totally tragic outfits....mostly cause I can't wear those anymore ...lol , but agreed they have worn out their welcome.
  22. Dont' feel bad from what I've heard from instructors it's quite uncommon for someone to make it through witout reapeating atleast one level. If it makes you feel better I know someone that had some severe spinning issues with level 6. That person repeated that level like 8 times, even had to go back level 3 and then went through the rest with no trouble. Now, he's a terrific skydiver. Everyone has there own hurdle to get over. Stick with it, you'll get through it. If it makes you feel better I had to repeat level 2 my first time thru AFF. Just remember to relax and most of all HAVE FUN!!! Good Luck!!!!
  23. Yeah allergies are what did it to me as well. This time of year I get them and then goes into bronchitis, I'm in that inbetween stage right now but feeling really good otherwise. Thanks for all of your inputs, I really appreciate it!!
  24. LMAO!!! Trust me the cold is bigger than the chest, not much to post.
