how do you guys keep current? i have to jump every 30days to keep current and i have a feeling that's going to be kinda hard here in oregon. or do you guys just get recurrent when the weather starts to get good again in april/may time? i've been trying for a while now to go head down. i can do a sit/stand perfect all the time now and can do cartwheels and all that, but as soon as i try head down i don't even come close. i've tried going to the pool to see how it feels but it didn't really help all that much. basically what happens is right when i go into the position i go on my back looking up side down but am not in the correct position. i think i need to relax more but i have no clue where else to start. any suggestions? i think i am going to have to piece together my first rig over a period of months because of money. but my question is when piecing together your rig what should come first, container, main, reserve? or is there no difference? i don't know what to do, my mom said she would loan me some money for my first rig, now it seems no she won't which really pisses me off. so what should i do, do 1-2 jumps every two weeks and save money or jump a lot with gear rentals and not save money? winter is coming so i have to take that into consideration as well. this sucks, i want a rig sooo bad, i am trying to sell all the shit i don't use any more, trying everything to get money. i have made some life long friends, and a life long sport that will keep me entertained for the rest of my life. i love this shit, it's the best. i've been working on my sit/stand for the past couple of jumps and have been getting it pretty well, doing solo's and everything. thursday was my first time trying to interact with other in a freefly and i did pretty damn good. i could go forward, backward, side to side, and could increase or decrease my speed when i wanted. so i was pretty pleased about that.
