I clicked it too, chased it until only half of it was showing out the side of the area, then snuck up on it from the other side. To my disappointment, was not rewarded for my ingenuity with nudity....

Crikey... First post was when I was thinking of AFF, well before I started at uni! Since then... Yeah, know what you mean about the Murphys... Theres not a particularly big punk scene in Aberystwyth, so a lot of my tastes go unappreciated Oh yeah, and just recently Ive had a terrible habit of downloading William Shatner covers Gotta hear "Rocketman" again...

We're just on our way back to form again now. With any luck, the squad we've got now will be good enough to win the world cup again next time it comes around. We did good against the springboks (but then again Wales put in a decent performance against them...)

We got something similar... You get a whole load of booze you hate, and a whole bunch you like (we reckon about 10 pints of each should do it...). You choose which candidate you're supporting, and thats your "good drink" candidate. The other is your "bad drink" candidate. Whenever a state declares a result, you down 2 fingers of the winners drink. This continues until the winner is decided, and you down whatevers left of that drink. Im so glad I have the day off tomorrow....

Yeah, Im in the process of learning to pack at the mo. Probably would have been best to leave it as it was, but hindsight is 20/20!

It was a 2-pin classic teardrop with a fury 220 in it. I didn't pack it (I dont really know how to pack yet). On the ground the PC seemed to move enough, and on the ground it looked like it had come an inch or so out before getting jammed. I dont usually check if it moves before I jump (but I will now!), I usually just make sure I can reach and grip the toggle ok. I still don't know why it didnt come out.

Thought Id put a bit about my first reserve ride on saturday. It was my second jump of the day, and I was using the same rig (club hire kit) as I had in the morning. I went to deploy at 3500, got the toggle, but the pilot chute was stuck firmly in the pocket. I gave it another go, but it wasn't moving, and I noticed I was passing the guys who were out before me so I cut away (unnecessary I know, as the main wasnt coming out, but it was more instinct than anything else) and pulled my reserve. I was under the reserve at 2000 feet. On the ground I tried the toggle again, and after a bit of wiggling it came out. Anyway, thats pretty much it. Just thought I'd share...

I was so shocked to hear about this. Although he was 65 he still seemed so young. Loved his "home truths" on Radio 4, and the way he brought punk to the forefront in a time when many labelled it a "fad". He was a a man who made his own rules, and had a wicked sense of humour in his work. As previously stated, but not enough, the man was a legend.

Theres a bar in Aberystwyth where they do about 200 different cocktails made up by students. A lot of those are seriously f**ked up. The best one's a Death Star. Not too sure whats i it, but it comes in 2 pint glasses, one is full of purple stuff and the other is full of green stuff. The idea is you down both and try and walk.
