I wouldn't really subscribe to that train of thought. Here's why. The energy transfer between 2 objects that collide will depend on mass and speed. The more the mass, the more energy transfer. The higher the speed, the more kinetic energy there is. So, with that, think of a feather. Its flat and light, but does not possess the energy and mass to have any effect. Now think of a feather that has been bronzed. It has the same shape as a feather, but it weighs much more. There is more mass to it, has more kinetic energy. It also falls faster, but that is not nearly as relative as its mass and the effect it has on energy transfer.

Dude at my DZ had his knife flapping all over the place off his chest strap. He thought no big deal, until he went to go pack his rig. He walked up the lines to start flaking and there was a nicely cut D line, about 3/4 the way up. Seems that the hook part of the knife caught the line as it came out of the rig and sliced it clean. What amazes me is that the dummy never knew it until he packed? How do you miss that under canopy? Oh well, what doesn't kill you, only shows how clueless you are.

I really have a hard time believing that this would even be an issue. Do you really call yourself a "friend"? (not like there are going to be any more airshows ever again) As far as the dates changing alot, maybe your could take into consideration that this wedding is taking place on a military leave, which aren't excatly set in stone ya know. Yeah, that is what I was planning to do. The only problem is that I dont know if the signal will go the opposite direction for which it was designed. The products are stream oriented. Is there some kind of circuitry inside the hubs? Or is it just acting like a splitter.

Has anyone any idea if I can use a firewire hub to allow other users (3-4) to copy the jump at the same time? The hubs I have found on the net describe it as only 1 port being downstream and all the others upstream. Can this be used in the other direction? I.E. My camera in the single port that usually goes to the computer and the others going to recording cameras (usually from periperals). And finally, is there a 4 pin only hub anywhere. I can only find the 6 pin hubs.

Hey Yonatan, I jump the Diamond 0.3 like Rob does. I agree, there is hardly any barrel distortion to this lens. From what I heard the Way Cool lenses are the same lens from the same manufacturer, so they should be identical. They are also going to have a "Black" lens, which is the new 0.2. I dont know about Way Cool's customer service, but Max is a good guy to work with. Have you figured out how we know each other yet? I haven't. Killin me.

Im not sure if anyone else has noticed, but, this sites members are slowly becoming the above definition by attrition. I know several people that don't frequent here anymore because of that fact. Its the same everywhere now and days. You have all the minority screaming and yelling about how wrong everything and everyone else is, and they abuse the shit out of their "freedom of speech" to push their adjenda and beliefs. Just look at Michael Moore. Its just that much easier for these people to accomplish this behind their computers. What I think these Americans dont realize is that Free speech is granted to Americans by God and guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. That is as it should be. Speech in this country is a guaranteed right, but comes with a responsibility. With freedom comes responsibility, and arguably the post mongering finger pointers do not utilize it as protection, but as a weapon of their self-righteousness. I feel that there would be a much better vibe around here and the world if people exercised their 5th amendment rights more often. I.E.
