Like it says "last alternative", I think I'd go with the H.O.P.E. Aerial Egress instead of the of the Executive System. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Yo man, take it easy, those bones will not be completely knitted together for atleast 2-3 months. That means 2 months with no weight on that leg!!!! Now you don't really need a cast if its held together with any plates/screws or pins ect... But you need to take major care not to twist the leg or put any weight on it! I highly recommend you go find another Orthopedist ASAP, preferably a good sports Ortho. I'm currently recovering from a fractured tib/fib and I have a excellent Ortho who I've discussed my work and sports with and he's adamant about taking time to heal properly and then lots of rehab. I did mine Aug 24th and I don't plan on jumping until like everyone else and my ortho has said " you have full use with no pain", this means with rehab probably 4-5 months. Scoby, if you shop around you should be able to come up with some very good deals on the Hornet, I've heard of them from $600+ to $800+. I paid about $750 for mine. I've heard that if you buy it out of S. africa and the $ exchange rate is favorable that you can get them in the $600 range. You might have to do some hunting for a demo in the US or just call/email PISA to see if they'll send you one. Yes the openings on the Hornet can be brisk, particularly when brand new. But various packing techniques can control that, I personally like the psycho pack or rolling the nose and a slight tuck works well. The sliders on the Hornet are large to start with so I never thought about a larger one. There is alot of talk here about the Hornet,do a search and you'll find more info. You cannot beat this canopy for the price, better IMO than the Sabre and on par with the Sabre2. The Hornet RRROOOCKS! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Jessica, I currently have a Hornet 210 which I purchased new, the Hornet logo has almost completely rubbed off in about 200 jumps. I contacted PISA about this and they sent me a new logo patch to put on with their hopes that this one would last awhile longer. This is a problem with the way the logos were printed and in NO way is the canopy affected. Now as to the hornet as a canopy I find it to be all around winner! I fly mine loaded at 1.26 and it is very responsive to all input from toggles, risers and body position. I can turn-n-burn and swoop it in or float along coming back from a long spot or when going for the peas. The really great part about this canopy was the price!!! Perrine bridge over the Snake river in Twin Falls, ID. Base jumping off this bridge is LEGAL, just check by phone with the Sheriffs Dept to let them know your out there so people calling in about suicides can be handled properly. Base, bungee and ect are legal in Idaho, Idaho has very open minded laws about allowing you to try to kill yourself, either through high risk sports or assisted suicide. Just think personal transpo at WFFC instead of a golfcart, granted golf carts are fun to drive and a great way to meet other people, but sometimes a pain in the arse. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Weight bearing going OK, sore, stiff and numb in various places. I was told that some nerve damage can take up to six (6) months to heal. I want to get into some real physical therapy ASAP. This sucks, I actually WANT to go back to work not to mention back to jumping! ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868
