    SKYFALL--007

I finally saw it today, the colour is what it looks like in the UK in Autumn/Winter. I enjoyed it, it could have been better though if some dick head hadn't mentioned that M died in the end. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  2. I disagree on a couple of points, if you are employed as a plumber or electrician by a corporation then it doesn't matter if you have a Masters degree even, you aren't going up the ranks because you are employed as a tradesman. Secondly, University isn't for everyone, some people simply aren't academic it doesn't make them any less valuable as people just means they have different skill sets. In the UK Tony Blaire bumped up the numbers of graduates until a degree became required even for the most manual of labour. Consequently it devalues the academic worth a degree. If everyone has a higher level education then it ceases to be higher level and is devalued to general level. 3. You clearly haven't had to pay a tradesman recently Not everyone wants a life of trading their soul to make money for faceless shareholders. Tradesmen make a shed load of money, where theres muck theres money lad. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 4. Very well said. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  5. Very possibly correct, almost certainly they'll make more money unless you're studying medicine or possibly law. As for the happiness bit, well that has nothing to do with money once you've covered the basics. Right up to the point they hit the ceiling that requires a degree for advancement. Then they get to discover the unhappiness of never being promoted again or going back to school while trying to maintain whatever career you started. Get your degree first, you can always "learn a good trade" when you are out of college and that degree will help you get promotions the mere 'tradesmen' arent qualified for due to its lack. Depends on how you measure advancement. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  6. From the outside looking in I'd say I have to agree with that statement. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  7. Drivel yes, to be specific I think that for an article of this level of nonsense the technical name is... Doodoo. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  9. Lost me right there. Political ignorance personified by the idiot who wrote this who thinks that liberals and Marxists are the same thing. Clear they have no idea or either liberal politics or Marxism. Total drivel. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  10. Its an American thing, I don't know of any other country where people thank people in uniform for their service (unless they have actually done something fir them personally). If I walked up to a cop and thanked him for his service he'd think I was taking the piss. 11. Hi Chuck, Can you elaborate on your theory please? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  12. With this socialist nightmare we are in, I'm too broke to pay attention. Actually you are far closer to living in a fascist nation than a socialist one. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  13. Shcweet! When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  15. At first I thought this Sock Puppet was Dream Dancer but he is so obsessed with guns that I now am also suspecting that its JR trying to wrong foot us by pretending to be a 'Gun O phobe' as JR would have said in his previous incarnation. 16. Oh wise one, let us eat the crumbs from your table. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  17. So many people here slag off the Police yet no one seems to notice when they do good every day. '"The officer said, 'I have these size 12 boots for you, they are all-weather. Let's put them on and take care of you,'" ..... "The officer squatted down on the ground and proceeded to put socks and the new boots on this man.' http://tiny.cc/4ymjow When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 18. Hate to say it but... I told you so. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  19. People who kill with vehicles do so accidentally. People who kill with guns do so intentionally. So perhaps we should be a little more strict on the guns. Are you aware that down here in the South, some people need killin'.
  20. Good question, don't expect a good honest response. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  21. Hes a chimp not a monkey. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  22. People who kill with vehicles do so accidentally. Not always true. People who kill with guns do so intentionally. Not always true, as well. So perhaps we should be a little more strict on the guns. Using false, fact lacking, statements as absolutes, only weakens your point. Since it is a weak point to begin with, it pretty much means this is a pointless thread. Matt You only just come to that conclusion? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  23. I do not, have not, and never will cling to a gun. I hold it firmly with my dominant hand as my non-dominant hand provides support (long gun) or rearward pressure (pistol). Although, I will admit that I once had a new AR15 and my wife was unaware I put it in the bed beside me the first night...but there was no cuddling. :-) LOL, nice one When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 24. So says the monkey. Sounds like something out of Aesop's fables When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  25. I actually care about the tens of thousands of people being shot to death with guns every year. You should too. I actually have a genuine opinion against those guns, and if you haven't noticed that by now, you aren't paying enough attention. Are you sure you really want me posting on other subjects too? If I drive you this crazy about guns, just imagine what I could do to your blood pressure if I branched out into other subjects. You're not driving me crazy in fact you're not even mildly irritating me, I've seen this game played before by other far more skilled than you little fishy. Its just that its all so much more interesting if you actually has a reasoned opinion on something you care about rather than just obviously attempting to bait people on a subject you're woefully ignorant about.
