I've noticed that the day after I've been skydiving that I'm like that guy out of Quantum Leap, my memory is like swiss cheese. It only lasts a day or so then I'm ok again. WWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo there boy! This is a whole different scenario!!!! Why didn't you tell us this in the first place? 'so I opened up hers with her standing right there' No woman in her right mind would let you do that knowing that she had an incriminating e-mail there! And if she didn't know? Well........... 'I commented on the letter from XXX and she said that we should look at it together. ' Unless she wants to finish it and hasn't got the bottle (ie:wants you to do it) why on earth would she suggest this if somethings going on. Women know when their ex still wants to bone them. So even if she didn't know what it said but fancied him still she'd not make this suggestion but would move swiftly on. 'but she said it would be inappropriate to hang out with a guy who has the hots for her. ' So whats the problem? Sounds like you have some insecurity issuse to deal with. Question is are they about your relationship with this girl or about how you feel about yourself? My revised advice on this fresh intel is chill out, like I said before you will know if something is going on. It doesn't sound like you have a problem here. Ask yourself some searching tough questions. And if you get to the point when you do know, 'LOOK' 'LOCATE' 'TEAR UP' 'PUNCH' 'PULL!' 'ARCH' Dude, you know the drill..............Good luck. Been where you are and it sucks. The worst thing is you KNOW if something is going on or not. Don't let her take you for a sucker, if she isn't interested in him then she'll introduce you to him in a non threatening senario like maybe the DZ bar after beer o'clock. If she doesn't shes taking you for a fool, then cut away. If she does don't be an arsehole to the guy but leave him in no doubt that shes your girl. Good luck. While £18M a year came into Republican terrorist coffer from NORAID and other fund raising organisations in the US the US government was not helping the PIRA. The Americans helped to track down and capture and gain useful intelligence in the war against the Republicans. Trolling isn't nice, so please don't crank the Yank's! I'm sick of the war and it supposedly hasn't even begun. All I see is people wanting to spill blood in the name of peace, and guess what? There on both sides! I LOVE Skydiving, I enjoy this forum & DZ.com what a pity so many people who share a love are cranking each other. (I've been guilty on this one as well) lets call it a day. That which unites us is stronger than that which divides us. Peace to you all. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Did you know that only 4% of Americans hold a passport? 'Those that don't travel overseas may not do so for reasons of finance or the fact that there is so much to see right here. The United States is a large country with various cultures and climates. ' Isn't that exactly the same for Australians? They've got an entire continent! They also have rain forests, deserts, mountains, Snow for skiing, beautiful beachs. It also costs them almost twice as much to come to Europe than it does for Americans, yet the place is full of them. Hi Michelle, Responding to 'Something is indeed going on, and I don't understand what. And I do hear a lot of anti-americanism (not just CNN, etc. but in sites that I go to and read on originating outside the US), but I am really unclear as to why, exactly, this feeling is so pervasive.' I honestly think one reason is that because Americans hardly travel they often see the US as the world (World series Baseball for example) alot of people I belive see that as arrogance. (Not having a dig here just saying it as I see it). I think that this insularity fosters a sense of paranoia based in ignorance of others which is at the moment being reinforced by your government for their own aims. On an international level America is seen as supporting and upholding terror regimes such as the Israeli Government (genocide of Palastinians) and sucking upto the Saudi royals who are not much better than Sadam. The whole system of corporate greed that runs American politics is often confused (by a world that has little day to day contact with American's) for American culture and values. Americas self centeredness when it comes to consumerism and the destruction of the enviroment also contribute. The fact that america won't sign upto the convention on child rights and along with China stil holds minors on death row. I used to think I didn't like Americans, then I went there and found some fantastic people (they were on holiday as well ) But really, I think one reason is that people don't often get to meet real americans because the majority of Americans stay at home. most of those who do travel are in the millitary and live on bases which may as well be America. My question to you is 'Why don't Americans travel?' That often used excuse that 'we have everything here in the US' doesn't wash. Look at Australia, they have a whole continent to themselves and are on the other side of the world yet they travel more than any other nationals and I'm sure that they're richer culturaly for it. So 'Why don't Americans travel?'
