  2. A year ago this was proposed as a farce now its actually being considered, it just shows how screwed the system is. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  3. I used to think that as well as it was what we were told when we switched from 7.62 to 5.56 but the truth of the matter is not so simple. Having worked for years on people who have been shot in a trauma setting I developed an interest in wound ballistics. Watch this, I think you'll find it interesting. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=fb0_1350399880&comments=1 When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 5. Oh hell There you go throwing facts a gun banners again They dont care Just like they do not like to hear that mass shooting have and are trending down since the 1960's Since when have I been a gun banner? 6. Yes that is interesting but we all know that the new legislation to ban certain firearms is about media spin and political wrangling not stopping mass shootings. Which as terrible as they are are only a tiny proportion of murders involving a gun. More people are killed by blunt objects than rifles. 7. LOL... When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  8. Thanks, yes looking at that its a total waste of time designed only to get her up the greasy pole. Funny thing is that it will mean that some Firearms that will be banned in the USA will be legal in the UK! 9. If anyone should have their guns taken away from them its Alex Jones, the man is totally unstable and no I'm not kidding. Thats the real problem you have, that people who are boarder line mental have access to firearms until they commit a crime. There are literally millions of firearms in the UK and yet 35 shootings in 2011, why? Because people as unstable as that are refused ownership. Its not about the guns its about the people using them. 10. Nope. It is, however, regulated and unlike guns and ammo, the bar tender is held responsible for giving people too much. There is a limit to how much you're legally allowed to have in your body and drive a car. Again, there is a wide gulf between an out right ban and additional regulation. You appear to think there can not be a middle ground between no regulation and confiscation. That's simply not the case. I don't see how you can regulate firearms without confiscation of certain types when there are so many in circulation, it just becomes a mockery of the new legislation. It would make far more sense to improve the routes for identifying and intervention for people most likely to commit such shootings. Look at all the mass shootings in the last few years and the overwhelming majority were committed by school or college kids. What no one knew these kids were fruit loops? Socially alienated sociopaths? I simply don't believe it. Focus on addressing the abusers of firearms before they spaz out not the law abiding owners of semi auto longs. 12. Theres no need for civvys to own some weapons... http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/mcchrystal-says-serious-action-needed-gun-control-174328785.html I've got a lot of respect for this Soldier so his thoughts on this matter interest me, its a pity he didn't go on to expand his argument but his voice will carry a lot of weight high up. 13. Actually, most objective historians consider it more or less a draw. Oh, you mean like Vietnam? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  14. Well I wouldn't be too hasty there Mr Vance.... I can't actually recall a war that the USA has won of it's own volition, so even with the raping of Her Majesties Armed Forces currently be carried out by Cameron and his cronies I'd still fancy our chances! They must teach a different version of history over there if you think we have never won a war without major help. Do you remember the American Revolution and the War of 1812? At the time, your army was considered the finest in the world, and we handed you your ass twice. And yes, we did get a little help from the French, but I think they were mainly doing catering. If you want to try again, fine with us. This will be another reason to tell Feinstein to keep her grubby hands off of our weapons. You boys would have been screwed without the French. 15. No, but recently (last century or so) you Brits have been getting entangled in alliances with them. I think it was much easier when you were sworn enemies. . . Trust me the vast majority of us Brits are still sworn enemies or our garlic eating neighbours! Speak for yourself, I've got nothing against the cheese eating surrender monkeys. Typical shit-eaters... You're just jealous because your food sucks!!! LOL Hmm, roast beef or http://unclestinky.wordpress.com/2008/01/14/andouillette-french-pig-colon-sausage/ Hmm Roast beef please. 17. Don't listen to Andy Zep he is talking nonsense, its all to do with the gigawattage of the fluxcapacitor which of course is dependnet upon the quality of the dilithium crystals. 21. Ok THEN DO SOME REAL BITCHING ABOUT IT LIKE YOU DID WITH W!!!! The law does not apply to Americans. When Americans are targeted for surveillance, the government must get a warrant from a special 11-judge court of U.S. district judges appointed by the Supreme Court. I bet you missed that bit, didn't you? But they can be killed with impunity by drones outside of the USA. 22. Ireland alone has a massive drugs problem and trafficking is massive business from there: http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2012/1124/1224327041547.html Narcotics trafficking into the UK is huge: http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/media-centre/news/heathrow-cocaine-seizure-linked http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/publications/science-research-statistics/research-statistics/police-research/hosb1711/hosb1711?view=Binary When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 24. gangsta Rap: Yes Prison culture: To some extent mainly in the black community but not exclusively, but having said that we obviously have nothing like the amount of prisons that exisit in the US. There is a big problem with gang culture in the Uk, more stabbings than shootings but there are plenty of those too. drive bys and random shootings are not unusual in some city areas these include the shooting of children often who got in the way but not always unintentional. Gangs in London often lead to post (Zip) code wars and youths are stabbed to death or shot simply for being outside of their area. Even though you're taking the piss yes Ireland is a real route for drug imports. Also Chicago is as far away from Mexico as London is from North Africa, but drugs from around the world come into London via Heathrow and by ship the distance to the nearest third world country is irrelevant. UK Cities are awash with drugs. Immigration is out of control, the Government have no idea how many illegal immigrants are in the country (by their own admission). In London before Christmas it was announced that white English are a minority in London and make up around only 30% of the population. I'm thinking you know nothing about London.
