A bar (or drinking for that matter) is a bad bad idea. I recommed waiting until it's been at least 4 or 5 days. If you're going to go anyway try to sit back at a table as opposed to the bar or outside if they have outside seating. Take it easy on the drinking. Find someone to make out with (helps with the oral fixation). Respect the Dolphin

I would have to say my biggest fear (strong aversion) is bees (or wasps or hornets or yellow jackets). Used to get stung constantly as a kid. That whole "if you don't bother them they won't bother you" saying is a bunch of BS. Respect the Dolphin

All German from what I can tell. In fact I'm related to the first know German American in the "new land" he was a religious freak that settled here in the 1600's in Lancaster, PA. 400 years later most of my family is still there. I definitely come from a Pennsylvania Dutch upbringing (no, I'm not Amish). Respect the Dolphin

[i recently wrote on someone's essay that it was 'uniformed at stupid'. it was: there was *no* evidence of any research, just lots of racist assumptions, cliches and stereotypes... if you write something that looks like zero preparation went into it, the person grading is likely to think that reasoned comments are pointless.. ] I certainly hope you mentioned why it was "uniformed at stupid" on the paper. Granted the student probably did little prep without letting him know that writing anything was probably just a waste of ink. I was an engineering student so my exams and assignments weren't too subjective. I did have a humanities teacher that gave me a lousy grade because I took a point on an argumentative essay that was a little conservative for her. It was backed up with research though. She also gave me a great grade when I wrote something she did agree on. Respect the Dolphin

I haven't been jumping long but my whuffo friends no longer want to hear me talk about it. They are convinced it's a passing fancy with me. I no longer bore them with skydive talk because they don't care and can't understand. I find myself more and more telling them I can't hang out because I'm going to be at the dz for the weekend. I'm going to learn to balance the lifestyles. I can't give up my whuffo friends. When I moved to Florida I knew no one. The friends I have made here are priceless. Respect the Dolphin
