There was a short blurb on the news last night and I don't know if I have the story right. Has anyone else heard about the following story? Apparently some Marine packers are being court martialed for, I think, cutting the risers on several main canopies forcing the jumper to have to pull the reserve. I don't know much about what the Marines jump or the gear so don't I'm not 100% sure about cutting the main risers thing but they were accused of sabotaging the gear in some way forcing hte jumper to use the reserve. There was an article (Reuters I believe) on Yahoo! news last week citing a Russian newspaper. It was basically telling the Russian people that the U.S. was not primarily concerned with ousting hussein from power but seizing Iraqi oil for our own benefit. The article also cited that Russia has openly stated in the past that it was in favor of lifting the embargo on Iraq because Russia had oil interests it was interested in pursuing in Iraq. I think we need to take the news with a grain of salt no matter where it comes from. "Undisclosed sources" could be anyone or no one.

Anyone have e-mail addresses for top people at Delta. We could start an e-mail campaign to bring this to their attention and urge them to issue a memo to everyone of their employees in the field that may have to deal with this issue. It may or may not get anything accomplished but a 100 or more e-mails to the same people at Delta siting Gravitymaster's experience and that it would influence your decision to fly on Delta in the future. Since most major airlines or in a money crunch we may be able to scare them where it counts - their revenue. Anyone have any thoughts? Respect the Dolphin

Just found out that our bonuses which were sent to us from our corporate office yesterday via FedEx P-1 has not shown up yet. The mail is usually here by 9:30am. Worse, I've got to ship stuff out priority 1 and I have no idea if they'll even show up. Respect the Dolphin

I guess my company had a much better year than last. We got our year end performance bonuses and it was much better than last year. Not as good as 2 years ago but still good - until the gov't gets it's hands on its share. Can't complain. I don't think many companies give out bonuses anymore. Respect the Dolphin
