I've put a few jumps on the Spectre and it reminded me of my old CruisAir I jumped in the early 1980's .. a far cry from a modern 9 cell in flight performance and landing. I just bought a new canopy with Birdsuit jumps in mind. After jumping the PD Sabre2, BigAir Lotus, PD Spectre and Aerodyne Pilot (4 jumps each, back to back) I settled on the Pilot. Great openings and real 9 cell performance and landing. So while the Spectre would certainly be a good choice for BirdMan jumps, there are other choices... check 'em out before you plunk down the money.

For safety sake I'd keep the night dive pretty small .. 2 or 3 brave souls with glo-sticks in each hand. No bail-out bottles are needed for the high altitude loads the next morning. Pre-breathing from 8K up and a quick exit is all it takes. Except for the Scots (who'll already be there) please pre-manifest with TK if you plan to show.

It was pretty windy today out at Z-Hills ... Chris is for sure gone Friday. We should both be out there on Saturday. Scott
