Most dz's have "moderators" too. I've seen people get kicked off a dz for behavior that was unwelcome.

Sodium? Meh. Don't overlook the pioneering work with oxygen done by George Goble at Purdue: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TBLr_XrooLs Nice pyro stuff, but the sodium was cool because it attracted lots of male butterflies who were looking to get little sodium presents for their mates.

I notice a few "hostile, condescending and argumentative" people on here, but to me they still seem to be outnumbered by the people who are here to share some laughs and be part of a community. It's all a matter of perspective, J. Do I need to slap some perspective into you? (Oh wait, am I one of the hostile people you're talking about??? )

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one still getting an Easter basket at my age. I wish I could go to my mom's on Sunday, but she's in TX and I'm in CA. But I'll be going for a visit soon.

Well, if he goes to L.A. right after he loses the election, takes some PCP and goes speeding through the city, gets stopped and then beaten up by some white cops, and the beating happens to be caught on video and posted on youtube, and the cops are not convicted for using excessive force... Then yeah, there might be some rioting when Obama loses the election. -

Hmm, I often disagree with Bill's opinions, yet I never get warned or banned. So my complaint is that the moderation is not heavy-handed enough. Sheesh, what does a girl have to do to get scolded around here? Oh, and quade: I got the joke; it just wasn't all that funny.

My parents have been divorced for 33 years. But my mom and stepfather have been married for 32 years, and my dad and stepmother have been married about 22 years. That's my dad's fourth marriage. Obviously, the others didn't last so long. But at least he seems really happy in this marriage, and my mother seems happy in hers. And I like both of my step-parents, my half-brother, my two step-brothers, and my step-sister (and my "real" sister too), so I guess I can forgive my parents for the divorce.

Ok, that's funny... I keep suggesting that we rename our boat as "Mast O' Dawn," which a friend pointed out to me that it sounds like another name for "morning wood." So I guess rubbing out a mastodon would mean . . . Oh nevermind; I probably don't need to explain it.

I forgot to mention George Burns. He was a very funny guy, and I would have had the total hots for him if I had been closer to his age. Oh, and his wife Gracie was funny too.
