He had no business being on that side of the diamond, except for his own intuition and hustle. The Immaculate Reception.....the icing on the cake was Franco out-running none other than that a**hole Jack Tatum to the end zone. What a truly sublime moment for all long-suffering (at that time) Steelers fans.

    Back when I used to play a lot of golf, we'd stand on the tee behind whoever was hitting and quote this in a stage whisper.     Man is too resiliant to die out. However, we will eventually evolve a USB port inside our left ears and our spine will move forward inside our bodies, to better support our huge bellies.     The movie was good, the short story was better. I think Stand By Me, The Green Mile, Christine, and The Shawshank Redemption were the best movies adapted from King novels. The worst ?     Thanks, guys. I have another case in reserve to commemorate the occasion of our first fight. It's been in the fridge for almost 10 months now, and I have yet to even come close to pulling it out.

    Not singling you out, Bill....I've seen this type of response before. If one of my dogs (rottie and shepherd) got out of their fence and bit a kid severely, I'd definitely feel a need to destroy it.....because people ARE more important than animals. However, if my dog bit some kid's hand or leg because said child was hitting it, and somebody shot it for that reason....I'd have a major issue with that somebody.     A better way to describe them would be "just your average-to-above-average skydiver who is trying to give something back to this community, is doing a usually thankless job, and sometimes takes crap for taking an action that any one of us would sometimes take if we were placed in the same job." They're people. Sometimes they might react differently than I would, but 99% of the time they're doing us a great service.....not just by cleaning up the content, but by passing on everything they've learned in the sport. I think a lot of the shit they take is unwarranted, and quite a few folks on here need to find something more constructive to criticize. Deleting a post or putting someone in time-out for 30 days is nothing compared to what's going on all around you....go criticize your Congressman. I have yet to meet a mod I didn't like.
