You know what's even worse to wake up to. The sound of a whole bunch of hot air balloons getting fired up first thing in the morning. I don't know how it is that I forget they launch from there like every week but I always wake up and go "BALLOONS!!!!" and throw on my clothes and my rig and run out only to find out they aren't taking jumpers!!!

That's OK. I programmed my last phone to play "I'm a Little Teapot" I recently got a new one that let's me use MIDI. Now it's got a really great backbeat!

Nice! Actually. Yes I do NEED to do the night jumps. Count me in on a formation jump. Perhaps a small one first then a larger one with some real experienced night flyers.

LOL and I think I offended the BigBird when I turned down the opportunity to "climb" him All I could think of at the time was ....what if he drops me? Thats a long way to fall! That's not the reason I remember you giving. But fair enough. You wouldn't have been the first person to fall off. Can you believe some people expect to be lifted and held up? Explain to me how that could be defined as climbing.

So, who from the Bay Area is going to drive out there, and when are you leaving and when are you coming back? I have to put my time off request in and I am wondering what people want to do. I am thinking leaving Friday morning (July 23rd) and coming back on Sunday (Aug. 1st) or Monday (Aug. 2nd) Iwan Stinky Jim, Mike DelCarlo, and I not necessarily collectively are all planning to drive out there. Mike has probably got a full car/truck by now but you can check. I've already got the dates you mentioned blocked out for vacation but still no plans have been finalized. Take whatever opportunity comes along but we'll keep you in mind and informed once we've got a final plan. It'll be great to have you there Iwan By the way... My FF2 is on order. Where is your wingsuit?

Yep and you missed it It's good to know who your friends are I had every intent on being there Saturday but something else took precedence even over a boogie. (gasp!) But there is more. Can you believe it was too windy in Byron today and the PJs didn't come. Ah well maybe I can get a jump in at Eugene in Oregon while I'm away this weekend.

Hey Iwan, I guess I can always practice head down solos. Yeah I was in Lodi this last Sunday but it looks like all the fun was to be had the previous day. No worries I'm still jumping. In fact guess who just picked up a new Sony DCR PC-330 and is ordering a FF2 camera helmet? I'll give you 3 guesses but the first 2 don't count.

Yeah you did great Iwan. If I recall 10 has even more bizare words. Most native english speakers don't use the big words from 9 or 10 so you aren't at that much of a disadvantage. No more lame excuses!
