I have yet to meet a better DZ dog than Meeker. I'm sure she'll be checking in on us. Especially when we are eating.
-
Can I come?
-
True dat. You are a fair bit BIGger than I am. I'd be down for a dive like that. But I have no plans to be south. I may be in Arizona for the Holiday Boogie. Perhaps we can get it together there.
-
Yeah...yeah... Whatever dude. You ain't all that big.
-
I'm pretty sure the Byron Boogie has been the last week of September for at least the past four years. But who knows maybe they've been conspiring against Brian Germain for all this time. Those Byron Boys are a tricky lot you know.

Climb up one climb up two. But beware for he may climb on you! That would be a sight to see Tallguy climbing up on me! I'm sure that we would all laugh with glee. A GirlFallDown is what we'd see.

Now come on now. Don't you guys know enough to automatically put my name on any list for a NorCal Boogie? 1. Chopchop 2. Plaything 3. Deathscooter 4. Genofalldown 5. Lummy 6. Skyesspot 7. GirlFallDown 8. Amazon Already got the ticket.

I remember seeing that one from the shore! Scared the hell out of us! Amazon you are one tough cookie. I'm just happy I wasn't the only one of us to come back with battle scars. Misery, company, and all that. I still have a massive bruise along my left love handle. Still it beats last years carnage.

No worries Dave. I couldn't remember the exact press release statement but I would expect to see a slight variantion thereof on this years Boogie Video.

If we brought our own or not we'd help you set yours up Jeanne. Especially if we set yours up right over my tent . I hate it when the heat forces me to get up at 8AM no matter how late I go to bed.
-
Yeah you should stop in Alameda and pick up chopchop's shade canopy from Stinky Jim. You can never have to much shade up there!

I think Mad John has already left for the Prairie.

Hey Iwan, I actually did jump this past weekend. I went to what I thought was a Boogie at Lodi. Turns out it was a day of 1:15+ calls between jumps on their Otter (The only plane flying). The party was pretty cool. I ended up staying up way past my bed time and spending too much money. Shame you can't make it out earlier. Things don't really pick up till Wed anyways. I'll be sure to drink a couple Lang beers in your honor during your abscense.

4 more days! Why do I get the feeling it will be 4 very long days. Still so much to do to get ready! I don't suppose anyone will have a car in Kalispel. On Friday. I could really use a lift from the airport. I'm flying space available but I can call before I leave from Seattle. BTW My hair is being prepared for my new look. Let's just say that for now I don't so much feel dumber, but rather I feel less of a responsibility to be smart. Tall Guy Life ambition - To get my eXtremely Cunning Linguist rating at Lost Prairie!

Who's planning on making it out to the Tracking Competition in Byron this coming Saturday? Mad John's Post

Spiderman II question: Did I understand this right?
TallGuy replied to peacefuljeffrey's topic in The Bonfire
I'm sure many of the key people in the movie including the writers knew the real deal. But the fact is that when your just looking to entertain the masses, scientific accuracy is purely optional. My favorite Men in Black quote is "A person is smart. People are dumb." That said...What the hell is up with Spiderman having strength like Superman? -
I can't take it anymore! I need a Lost Prairie fix in the worst way! If you guys really loved me you'd make it last all summer long and then support my poor ass once my company realized I wasn't coming back.
-
That's teriffic! I know we are a self policing group but I SO did not want the job this year! Now the men can play and the women only have to worry about the skydiving riff-raff! You guys are super groovy!

Cool photos E1! Hey everybody did you see see the one of my butt?!?!?! Oh, I'm sorry that was half of em!

I'm glad you enjoyed the rodeo. It sure seems like it'd be fun to ride on one. Sadly I don't think anyone I know could keep their wings out with the extra weight of having me on their back. Always a pleasure to be Northern California's mobile Mt. Everest. It was good to meet you Betty. Hope you can make the rounds and visit us sometime soon.

Man I knew I was bad with names but I'm totally drawing a blank here. Give me some more clues as to your identity.
-
Ouch. That hurts. I've been jumping all weekend long for the past two weeks. Where have you been Jeff? But you do have a point I'm not out as much as I used to be.

So what is your best story from the 2004 American Boogie? I would say that mine was that I learned a serious lesson while I was lurking a hybrid. On break off I was still in a stand trying to get down to the rest of the group(not being at break off altitude myself). Due to a lack of awareness on my part I didn't realize that they had started breaking off until I damn near had someone track incredibly fast right into me. If we had collided it likely would have been disastrous for us both. I definitely learned that aside from being more heads up I need to begin my break off earlier when I'm a good bit away from the main group near break off time. It's a shame to have learned that lesson from experience. I also feel the need to acknowledge the car accident that occurred Saturday night. But I'd like to leave that to another post from someone who knew more about what happened and the people involved much better than I do. That said, many of our thoughts are with everyone involved and that we are just happy that nobody died as a result of it. Hope to see everyone back again next year!
