In case anyone is interested. My request for help in establishing a standard for judging hybrid record attempts has been moved here.

I originally posted a request for guidance in creating a standard for judging record hybrid skydiving attempts in the Bonfire section, but since no input was forthcoming I thought I'd try here. First let me apologize to any RW jumpers who may feel they are being excluded in this request due to it being posted in the Freeflying section. I simply chose it because as I understand it freeflying incorporates flying on all axises and therefore is inclusive of flat flying. Also, I believe that Hybrid RW may fall outside of the traditional Hybrid (if there is such a thing) which I would like establish a standard for assuming one does not already exist. That said if ANYONE knows of an already established standard for judging hybrid record attempts (even an unwritten one) please let me know so that I can stop wasting my/your time. Thus far I have only searched the forums on this website. It's a bit rough but here is what I have so far. I know my grammar sucks please feel free to correct it. The attempt may not start at an altitude any higher than approximately 14,000 feet above ground level. The formation must consist of an equal or greater (up to twice) the number of hangers and stingers to people flat flying. The formation of all flat flyers in the base and all hanging hangers must be held for at least 10 seconds. All stinging may only be counted while it is built. This includes consecutive base completions within the same skydive. Stingers must be either head down, sitting, or standing (which includes standing on the base) A sting must be held for 3 seconds to be counted. One sting per stinger is required or the attempt is disqualified (although more are strongly encouraged). A stinger may sting a stinging stinger Obviously there must be judgable video of all of it. Like I said, it is rough. Finally if/when this is completed is there a group the final draft should be submitted to or should it just become an unofficial dropzone.com standard?

Yeah I had one too in which I got up and walked away. It's kinda funny. You're like Oh great I guess I'm going to die. And then you hit. I remember thinking with my face in the dirt "Oh shit I lived!" Now I'm going to spend the rest of my life on a machine. I then started doing a check of my extremeties realizing that there is no pain and everything seems to be in full working order. here is the best part. I get up and look around thinking "Boy I hope nobody saw that" as I walk back to the hanger pretending nothing happened. Cause you know damn well you'll be buying beer for that one.

You obviously didn't see the hybrid I organized (but merely flew base for) that made up about a minute of last years boogie video. It was virtually flawless and at least 75% of it were DZ.comers. I think we can easilly pull it off. At the very least we should be able to start it off with a 4 way flat base and 4 hangers.

Where is the current record listing? For LP it should be something fairly easilly attainable as it'd be nice to be inclusive for the relatively low number jumpers and just plain bad jumpers like me.

Yeah over two years I hiked a full circuit of the Bay Ridge Trail. All of them were day hikes. Haven't really done much hiking in the past year though with the exception of two exceptional hikes at Glacier National Park. Yet another reason to go to the Lost Prairie Boogie.

I have to confess. The skydives are rarely successful. Unless of coarse they are one of mine. It's pretty hard to F' up a magic carpet ride. Though it's fairly easy to F' up GirlFallDown while doing one.

How the hell am I supposed to remember specifically what bad one-liners I used at one relatively short period of my life? Would you have me deprive people who might not have had the opportunity to hear them for that off chance that someone in the group might have already heard one?
