Oh great... Just what we need. More video cameras, only this time broadcasting the debauchery nationwide. It's gonna be a PG-13 LP. Suddenly it's all coming back to me: The weather is terrible, the skydives suck, the beer is warm, and there are too many damn Canadians Practice this on the way to the boogie just in case you get interviewed. OK Here are the results of my preliminary tests of Chaser Plus. So basically does it work? Ehhh Maybe. I consumed my fair share of alcoholic beverages mostly beer and what was left in some bottle that someone needed help finishing off. I exhibited no symptoms that the packaging says they alleviate. I still ended up getting dehydrated and experienced a fair amount of fatigue the following day but the packaging never claimed to alleviate those symptoms (I'd call Bullshit!!! if they did). The only problem with this trial is that for some reason I don't really get hung over at boogies anyway. However, due to the highly intoxicating effects of the Bradley's Skydiver Red (8% alcohol) beer and it's amazing ability to take many people at the American Boogie out of commission I'd say I held up remarkably well under extremely challenging conditions.

Yep another great time in Davis. great planes, great weather (got the sunburn to prove it), great skydiving, great beer, and most importantly great people. What a way to start off the boogie season. Hope to see everyone that was there at Lost Prairie and Rantoul. You guys rock the small planet.

It has also been reformatted to more closely resemble the format used for the Vertical Star Crest Recipient award requirements. That said participants successfully completing the record requirements MAY also qualify for a vSCR award assuming there are at least 8 people in the formation and that the stingers can silmultaneously remain docked on the formation for 5 seconds or more. Background: In the interest in creating a dropzone.com record category that allows people across skydiving disciplines to participate on equal footing I'd like to establish a new hybrid record category. The following suggestion for guidelines has been posted in the interest of establishing a standard for judging dropzone.com hybrid record attempts. This does not pertain to Hybrid RW (turning points between two or more complete hybrid formations). If the draft is rejected by 25% or more I'll revise it with any generally accepted suggestions and submit another draft in one weeks time. If this gets to the 4th draft and is rejected by 50% I'll just leave it to someone more qualified to establish the standard. 2nd draft follows: The formation may launch up to a 4-way base. No more than one-half (1/2) and no less than one-quarter (1/4) of the formation may fly belly to earth (flat). Participants of the formation not flying in a flat position must either be docked in a hanging (sitting or standing position while suspended from the flat base) or stinging position (sitting, standing which includes standing on top of the flat formation, heads-down, and inverted). The formation must be built as planned. All hangers must simultaneously hold their position under the flat base with all preassigned grips for a minimum of 5 seconds. During this time all stingers must hold a dock on the formation for at least 3 seconds. Judgable video is required to qualify for the record.
