Does anyone have some footage of a roundie ladning? I looked on skydiving movies but couldn't see any (although i didn't look very hard lol). I was just wondering because i wanna do a roundie jump at some point in the future and i wanted to know what i'd be in for if it did it. Thanks

yeah a nudie jump from height would certainly be cold in melbournes weather Congratulations in advance on the 100th dude

I completed S/L a while ago as well and didn't have to many problems with it but now i'm having to work on my fall rate and being forced to do that arching on the floor again just like back in that first jump course lol My point is that no matter who the person there going to find some aspect on the sport difficult. Those students you see rushing ahead of you you will rush ahead of oneday soon yourself

He just did a backward PLF and got up and walked away...i was like lol Yeah i never know what to do on Saturdays anymore other then go to the DZ. I'm sitting there going...hmmmm what did u used to do..?? lol

ahahahahaha...good call man -
my mum was nagging me about what i wanted for my bday and i had no idea...i think i was looking at websites and stuff trying to find some idea's and then it clicked....i instantly printed out a list of all the dz's in the area and took them down to her....she wasn't exactly thrilled by the idea but my dad had done 10 jumps at the same club back in the sixties so he convinced her and yeah that's about it. I think my first jump was around 19th March this year and i now have 25 jumps and my A licnese

Well its physically do-able but pulling it off is another thing. People have fallen from 30 000 with no parachute fallen through forests and into a snow drift and survived but there's no way i'd be game to try it

Another thing that was brought to my attention is security on the frequency. I don't really know how this works on a cb radio for example but you'd get some local moron start tuning in on the channel and telling the student commands which they shouldn't be doing. Needless to say that would be bad

Video of an airplane under freefalling formation - link attached
jumpy replied to skydiverek's topic in The Bonfire
that is damn weird....moved way fast across the screen but how could it be a plane? What plane would be desending at that speed over the dz? -
I was talking to one of the experienced guys at the drop zone today about a similar thing. He is seting up a similar system for canopy control jumps and stuff like that so that the student doesn't have to pay for 2 slots...etc...but he reckons that for a first jump student it wouldn't actually do much because under moments of high stress hearing is one of the first things to go. Just something to think about

owwwchh! ahh well what else is money for other then jumping? lol
-
i'd have to go with that option....i rarely think about what i say and then i say and go stupid stupid stupid... lol Also! why do you always have to look so deep into things? now that can be annoying
-
ahahahahaha...it really makes you wonder how they've gone so long without an accidnet
-
lol!! thay all said the same thing..."ohh yeah i wanna do that someday"
-
ahahahahaha! classic...how would you feel
-
ahahahahahaha!!! steering the canopy? my ass! by the time this has all happened you would most likely have something like a 3 second canopy ride....it would be very umm interesting ehh?...lol Me thinks that was written by a whuffo?

Congratulations

Well i just got my A license on the w/e and i've been told i should really be getting an audible pretty soon which i think wouldn't be to bad an idea...guess it makes you just that little bit safer as long as you don't rely on it to much. My question is what do people recomend? The Pro Tracks got all those cool features and i could probably get the cash to buy one so is it really necissary or does a Pro Dytter do basicly the same thing? Sorry if this seems a bit of a doppy question Thanks
