HH, If you only get 1 you will have enough $ leftover for 12,500 $20 Jumps. My Site

***So does the canopy respond like the pilot is hypoxic, does the jumper die or do you have to get really drunk before playing to simulate that too? Holding your breath from 100,000 ft would be boring plus the scenery is fairly flat. Best to simulate at lower altitudes and get those hook turns out of your system.. My Site

The Canopy looks square, but it will fly at 60 mph and you can swoop any water /pond in the 2002 scenery. You can also Start from the top of any building. Max altitude to start is 100,000 Ft but no oxygen provided. (I use the e-d 3d glasses and it really enhances the ground effect IMO) My Site

Yes, hook turns at 100 ft are fun, after, you can dig yourself out from the turf. It simulates the drop from canopy stalls very well. I never tried "pilotwings" Steve My Site

Joel, Did you do this? To install create a folder under the aircraft-folder and name it as you like. Extract ALL files to this new folder. Finally copy the files in the 'myflights' folder into the FS2002/flights/myflights folder It worked fine for me. Under Aircraft it shows up as "Garbers and Beckert" GB-1 Parachute Steve My Site

Hi All, FYI i just found a Parachute for flight sim 2002. No, you can't "Freefall", but you can experience Canopy flight at any location in the world. It can be downloaded at http://www.fsfreeware.com/cgi-bin/dcd_a/dcd.cgi?az=search. Just insert "Parachute" in the topic line. Take care and Have fun. Steve My Site

Think it would have to be programmed to play "Danger Zone" at 1000'. No exceptions Steve My Site

Well, they gave me a certificate. I don't think the passenger can fail a level. If i hadn't pulled i'm sure the TM would.

Lefty Here, I even pulled the ripcord left handed under pressure on my tandem. (see attachment) Reached with right hand and missed, but the left hand took over. Steve My Site

No, I haven't received mine. The Pony Express only arrives in Vermont on Mondays My Site

Congratulations Bill and everyone that made this happen. Great Press for the sport on NBC this Am, with Video and Positive comments about Skydiving. Steve My Site

Bill, Great Photos. Thanks Curious, If 150 tandems linked would it be called a 300 way? (No sarcasm implied). Steve My Site

I've been 30 for 29 years. Its great to be young My Site

How about a 11,000 ft bungee for $15. Think about all the freefall time you could accumulate in a day (No packing). Might be hard on the plane and pilot. (Ok i'll go away)

Could be, but who is going to argue with Arnold?

Don't dog Reagan. #1 He was one of the best presidents we have EVER had. Made the Russians pee their pants! #2 He was actually involved in politics for his entire adult life. I agree! The only other actor i might vote for would be "Arnold Schwarzenegger" Steve

Its really part of the New England way to get around in 20 inch Snowfalls during the winter. My Jeep gets 18 MPG and the 4 wheel drive is great. I think Redford should stick to his movies like "Waldo Pepper". He was burning a lot of petrol flying those WW1 Stunt planes. IMHO

Hi Iowa, Welcome Here's a site with a list of newsgroup acronyms. Many used on this forum. www.brmovie.com/FAQs/BR_News_Acronyms.htm Steve

I have a carstarter, I push the button in the house and the car is thawed out 15 minutes later when i go to work. Costs =~ 1 tandem jump. It was 9 deg F this morning in Vermont. Skiing is great.

Thanks BI, Interesting Page, -50c is just way too cool for me. Ha. The challenges of launching a hotair balloon at those temps must be formidable. I would think the canopies would tear also. Look forward to seeing their results. Steve

Russians to skydive at South Pole MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - A group of Russian parachutists plans to skydive at the South Pole from a hot-air balloon, for the first time in Russia's history. "A hot-air balloon will rise in the Antarctic from December 7 to 22, from which the parachute jumpers will skydive at the South Pole," a member of the Russian Antarctic expedition told Interfax on Monday. The expedition, led by well-known parachute jumper Alexander Begak, will thus mark the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg.
