If you break your legs properly your running days are over especially when it gets cold...I just slide my feet along the ground for as long as I can when I do fast landings FTMC

My brother ground launched a old raven reserve off a mountain and landed perfectly...he had never skydived in his life etc .. so no experience at all.....and as for the micro ravens its probably people that start there flares way to early who knows....but blame the gear if u get hurt I suppose FTMC

2002..its not even run in yet lol my old sabre1 is so old can't even read how old it is the warning label writing has worn off....just get someone to check out the canopy/line condition to make sure its safe and all good FTMC

Im planning to do this one day but solo from my own paraglider that I dont like or use anymore..but with a base rig. The scariest part is still just flying one of those deathtraps they call a paraglider lol FTMC

Good point...Even correctly loaded paragliders are sketchy at the best of times they dont like turbulence etc....ive had a 14m speedwing collapse in turbulence.....imagine a massive underloaded tandem canopy fuck that shit FTMC

Yeh the wait is that long ...I been waiting 6months now it's just how it is......but sometimes they bring out stock rigs u can buy straight away..but they go pretty quick FTMC

In Australia a parachutes australia talon container has a 20year lifespan...yet a rigging innovation talon doesn't have any limit I have both types of containers they are the same..so a unused pa talon in perfect condition becomes worthless in 20years even if it has 0jumps makes no sense especially when pa has the 20year rule on everything except for there reserve canopies FTMC

my harness container reserve and main are all over 20years,, even the cypress has only 2months left lol FTMC

I don't have a dog in this fight, but the life of Cypres 2 is 12 years and 6 months. And YES, taking a reserve out of service just because it's 15 years old is simply stupid thing regardless whoever told you that. Yeh its the cypress1 thats 12years 3 months.... and I currently use reserve older than 15years... FTMC

What do you think of the Mars? I ordered a Curv which has shipped, have a new reserve sitting here and am on the waiting list for a Vigil 2+ but getting antsy so I'm debating on picking up a Cypres or Mars now and getting the thing together so I can sell my old H/C and reserve. I just haven't actually seen or held the Mars nor have any of the riggers I use. I just ordered a mars, ill let yas know when I get it...was going to get a normal (older)vigil2 but theres none left FTMC

im jumping a sabre1 150sqf im 60kg has really good flare....as for the rest yeh flies like a brick is a about right...very docile canopy which is good for some people also flies good evan in line twist while your kicking out FTMC

They should bring out a canopy etc called "pussy" or "soft cock" then everyone that gets them will be as such therefore being safe FTMC

I got told same shit about the arthritis in later life.. but none of my breaks have ever stopped being sore evan 3 years after...the elbow hurts less now and doesnt bother me much but the real problems are when u break bones/joints that support body weight such as ankles legs femurs etc.. FTMC

I landed hard an dislocated my elbow and broke the radial head etc..not sure what the proper words are for it all (fucked my elbow joint up bad) had screws and plates which ended up grinding on bone and interfering with movement so had to get it all removed later...took a very long time and recovery to be able to straighten my arm out evan just halfway and ended up permanently losing a lot a range of movement in my arm FTMC
