    Well as some may have read she posted and said she loved it. She knew it wasn't a "popping the question" ring and we're not to that point currently in life, school, money etc... Funny thing though is that most people have asked when the date is or even what's the other meaning behind the ring. One of our friends gf's is actually a bit upset I think because she didn't get something nice for Christmas, hopefully that doesn't turn into a breakup... But just telling those who were curious, she loved the ring, there wasn't any odd momment of silence as she waited for me to pop the question, nor did she just reply with yes. good times and bluies to all Chris

    I'll join you rhino I too was not aware of the prior post and and touched by your strength and your words. I have 2 friends that are studying at law school right now and I will ask them. Not sure how much information they'll be able to give, but I will be sure I ask them what the max term and what else could be done.     would you really even though the stats show a different resolution? i have stats on my site that are the same... i guess i'll use 800x600 probably then must redesign images but atleast they're vector images

    yeah no kidding, there is no such thing as insulation in 100 yr old houses and it's the first winter i've lived here so i didn't know how much it was going to suck. i'm going to be working on plastic around the windows here pretty soon

    going to be using a lot of images that i dont want to set at percentages and have the image resized and look crappy... that's my biggest dilema

    I'm in the process of designing a number of sites but am unsure of the resolution I should use. They are Brazilian sites and the percentage is about 50/50 of people using 800x600 vs. 1024x768. my parents use 800x600 on their little 15inc monitors and i use it too but i have a 21inch and have to keep things somewhat big lol. what's your opinion as for the size? it's my parents site so should i design in 800x600 so it looks good to them at home but then shitty at work and small or do it in a decent resolution and have it blown up at home? any opinions?

    actually now that you posted that it makes sense. because it's a school server they don't allow things like cgi bins or script running applications... i.e. when uploading it wno't let it reconfigure the file to the proper reading from the server as a form of self defense... hmmm wonder if i can get that changed anyhow

    i converted the file from an avi to the wmv in 2 different sizes high and low. when i upload them to my server they are saving as html for some reason... i'm confused. i'm going to try another server and see if it does the same thing

    aggie any ideas why it would only do it with wmv files? i'm just exporting it thru dreamweaver as i always have. did the same thing when i tried useing coffeecup ftp as well? server problem?

    Alright I'm confused... I uploaded it to my server but it's just all code when I click on the link. It's like it's just reading it as an html file or something grrrrrr anyone have any ideas?
