How can I tell type of RAM without opening computer
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
lol it's not a real computer. it's running at 100mhz so it's gotta be sdram -
Awesome!!! i'm glad to hear you like the video. I made a DVD about a month ago but it was so big I didn't even dare post it. I just bought my camera so I hadn't really messed with posting footage that wasn't mine etc. There will be many many more online once I figure all the software out and get a better server. and I know how you feel being in Ohio, it's been cold here and colder in my house!

How can I tell type of RAM without opening computer
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
I've got a computer that I just want to determine if I can rip it's RAM out of it or not. Is there a simple program I can use or somewhere I can go to see what type of RAM I'm using on these extra computers? I found cpuid but it dosn't tell me anything about the memory. Thanks a million -
lol thanks i'll let her know

Ok it's 46 in my house...something is wrong
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
Nope no fireplace in the house. I can't add anything to the walls as they are just solid plaster. I went around and duct-taped all the cracks around windows and doors. So far the house has stayed at an amazing 45 all morning and hasn't dropped. This could be also because it's warming up outside a bit as well. Some of the windows have an outer windows, some of them dont'. The ones that don't have the storm glass or whatever over them, had frost on them... But is is normal to have frost on the INSIDE of the house and not the outside? I'm going to get plastic and put it around the windows that are just by themselves. Need more duct-tape. I'm gonna take a picture later on of the house, it looks rather funny with blue, white and grey tape around every freaking crack in the world lol I guess they're right, crack does kill lol -
Nice rig!!! I wish I had gotten what I wanted when I ordered my custom wings... Everytime I see the pics of Wings with the logo on the side, the small chest strap it makes me mad grrrrr But nice rig, you'll love it!

ok i give up, it's 44 now. i'm going to crawl into bed and wrap up in my electric blanket. hopefully the power doesn't go out again tonight like it has been doing, then it's just pointless and i can't stay warm no matter what -

Ok it's 46 in my house...something is wrong
kansasskydiver replied to kansasskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
my lady lives in MN, even colder up there. Difference is though that they make houses up there that actually withstand the cold!!! And yeah there are 2 AC units in the house. One in the basement and one on the 2nd floor. Each one is seperate. I don't have so much of a problem upstairs as my room is a loft that used to be the atic. Heat rises and there is insulation up there. The rest of the house is insane, I can run the heat and it just keeps going and going -

I just checked and it's 46 in my house... Now I understand why the people before me moved out and also why my gas bill was $200 while I was gone for a month. So I'm running a space heater in the computer room and then taking it upstairs and have an electric blanket...neither of them help though when the power goes out all the time I need some suggestions because a)I can't afford big bills like that b)I have to keep the heater running of the pipes will freez It's an old house, 100yrs old, plaster, crappy windows etc. What's a good fix to keep the heat in? -
come on come on come on

don't have tv, is it any good?

I still like my way better. Just have outlook generate a boggie header for you and send out from your own account. Given the average person they'd never think to read into the real machine lang header and see what servers and from where it was sent. I demonstrated this with JeffD eariler and it works just fine. Outlook>Tools>Accounts> Name: pick one Email: whoever you want it to show up as Save changes, close and send email, but then remember to change it back to yoru settings
