    i think i shut off the world and everything goes silent. I know how long it should take to get that tug, and know that it's opening. It's like a sureal dream or something, all in slow motion when it doesn't feel right

    On my very first rig it had a neon rainbow closing flap. What I did was used highlighters, made sure it didn't blead thru first, then protected the rest of the rig, and colored the parts of the flap. Then sprayed it with scotchguard to keep it from fading etc. It held up for about a year then started to fade again. Made a HUGE difference. But again, talk to your rigger first. I had 35 jumps at the time and just wanted it to look pretty. I didn't have a problem though and riggers didn't question it

    Cool, I have a house in Naples. There is a new dz that opened up, there used to be one outside of Ft. Meyers. Not sure what it's called as I haven't jumped there yet Deland and Zhills and Lake Wales are good dz's though

    I was drunk and told some people that I saw pink dolphins in the Amazon, which I really did. Because I was drunk I guess no one really believed me, but they are real!!!

    Ummm......Moss Point is pretty much a swamp. Might want to at least bring a tarp for a ground mat. any other suggestions? you said to atleast... so what else should i do to keep myself somewhat dry

    I can't answer because I still jump. 99 percent of the people on dz.com still jump. Maybe rephrase it to "What would it take to make you stop jumping" I've lost a friend, seen a friend almost die, money issues, personal issues, so's request, skydiving got boring once, i had my first cutaway, just never had a serious injury. I think we have all gone thru these stages honestly. Has everyone else too?
