I truly think that depends on a lot of factors, including locale, traffic, driver, vehicle, etc. 80mph in a 55 zone out in Incest Junction, Nebraska? Not a big deal. 90 in a 65 in rush hour traffic? Probably a different story. I got pulled over at a speed that would make most people freak out completely a few years back. The charge was dropped (I still do not know why. It should have stuck like glue, it was perfectly legitimate), but I don't speed anymore. Why? Not because my car, my training, or the conditions were bad, but because I never want to have a cop pointing a gun at me again. Fear of being thrown in jail and/or shot is a lot bigger deal than a couple hundred dollar fine cavete terrae.

It must have been the rigger at Eloy, after my cutaway. (You didn't read about that? Jeez. Some stalker YOU are).... and yes, I already found out what Kelly wants for his bottle I'll have my local rigger take a look next time I'm at the DZ cavete terrae.

In my experience, the weight limit isn't necessarily written in stone. I know when I started jumping, I was actually 6'3 and about 235, and my dz's limit is 230. However, when I spoke on the phone to someone at the DZ, they said that the weight limit is more in place for someone out of shape than someone in shape and just has a mutant genetic makeup, like mine . I was playing college soccer at the time, and they said if I were a 235lb couch potato, it'd be more of an issue. That having been said, I was still plenty light enough for the gigantic Skymaster 290s and Raven IVs I 'grew up' on, but I was definitely too tall for the Dolphin containers cavete terrae.

When I had my cutaway at Eloy, my canopy was spinning, but not badly. I ejected () and pulled my reserve handle a moment after I felt myself go back into freefall (one hand per handle technique, in case anyone was going to ask), so of course the RSL beat me to the punch, so to speak. (but I had the handle pulled WELL before inflation or anything) In any case, even though my canopy was spun up, the reserve opened clean and on-heading, via an RSL pin pull. cavete terrae.
