Even the most whoffo-est of the whuffos knows that you have to "pull the ripcord." Once you do that, the parachute comes out but it doesn't open yet because it's wrapped in rubber bands. You have to take them off and flake chute (like you're trying to open a new garbage bag) and hopefully it will open.

I spent a week in Coolidge back in February. It was pretty much the same story with the rental car. The guy asked me to pop the trunk. I did and just a few seconds later I was on my in. And this was right next to the terminal (I think it was an Avis car). I didn't mind the minimal hassle but it was pretty pointless. Unless you were stupid enough to put the bomb out in plain view, they would have never seen it. -Art Sky-div'ing (ski'div'ing) n. I live 90 miles (about 2 hours) from my home dz so I stay over regularly. I used to sleep on a couch in the club house but that got old (waking up to "full moons" every Sunday morning ). Now I bought a motorhome, and once I get the mechanics straightened out, I plan on making a habit of driving out Friday night to get the most out of the weekend.

If she was driving TO work or someplace, I'd have to go with make-up. But, since she was driving home, it was probably the cell phone. And, the cell phone has electronic parts that interfered with the electronic parts of the SUV. That's what caused the accident. It wasn't HER fault. -Art Sky-div'ing (ski'div'ing) n. At Xenia last year I was doing a two way. Broke off and tracked but had to go thru some IH. Popped out of it a little above 3k, looked around to make sure it was clear, and dumped. Then I look to my right and see rt 35. So then I think "ok, the dz should be to the left." I don't see it. I look back and forth a few times between 35 and where the dz should be before I look past 35 on the other side. There's the drop zone. DOH! A couple of bushels of soy bean never made it to market. I was about 2 miles out. Art
