It is time to revisit the truth. You all get so mired in cow Blevin that you fail to see the big picture. Here is what happened. Rataczak and McCoy hatched a plot to demonstrate how unsafe the pilot of an airliner was, and how easy it would be to take over an aircraft and do untold damage. Pilots were threatening a strike over these facts, and a new direction FAA was attempting to adopt laws through International Air Piracy Conferences in Japan and the Hauge, and Montreal. Action was slow at best. Nixon's boys got wind of the demonstration approved for our boys and switched the project fot their own purposes, to demonstrate to CONGRESS that they had to pass an unpopular bill for World safety. It was no longer just to show other airlines the importance of screening passengers and arming pilots. The project was taken off hold and came as a complete surprise to Rataczak. McCoy was called into action in a chase helicopter and shortly thereafter executed his share of the project in a second hijacking. Nixon declared an emergency and demanded Executive action and enacted the airline safety act approved by the world convention because our Congress WOULD NOT ACT!!! And THAT, boys and girls, is the real story behind Duane Weber's life as Dan Cooper and the reason he managed to stay hidden so well. It is also the reason you all get double-talk from the FAA, the FBI, and ever other axe-hole who thinks he's doing a service by touting some stupid suspect to make a buck or seem important. I know this to be fact, because it was my job to witness the project on behalf of Sgt. Richard Floyd McCoy, Jr. by order of Commander John W. Anderson, in lieu of 4 years in prison. Mac is still alive if you know how to check, ask him.

Another Dan Cooper identification. Rataczak and I asked "Dan Cooper" what his real name was and he replied, "Duane with no w and no y, just plain Duane." And what's your last name? Answer, "Weber." That is three witnesses that can identify Duane as Dan. In addition, there is McCoy who brought Duane into the project as John Collins, renamed Dan Cooper and presented with Cooper papers. After the hijacking his Weber paperwork was provided back to him. Mac is still kicking under another identity, but there is a fourth witness. There are plenty more. The FBI guys, who play ignorant, or silent, etc.

Blevins is a traffic misdirector working in behalf of the guys who perpetrated the Cooper Hoax, the Political Caper by the FAA, assisted by the FBI and pilots worldwide to change regulations for improved pilot and passenger safety. It is all clearly available to anyone who care to read the facts. Rataczak and McCoy created the original plot in 1968 and it was put on hold to let the system work. The system did not work and the International actions to approve the safety measures were about to be capsized by OUR Congress. Nixon ordered the hijacking to proceed per plan and used that and McCoy's hijacking as an excuse to use an Executive order to force into play what the Congress did not have the balls to do. These guys are really heroes but technically, it just another "Tricky Dicky" dirty trick that was illegal. But he was not a crook!! So our guys are not crooks either. Stop pointing fingers and admit the truth. It comes right from the mouths of the guys that did it. Blevins is a blow-hard with intentionally bad information. It is a disgrace to the honorable men that did a dirty trick on the now well protected public that would not like to have been inconvenienced. And THAT's the troof.

Thank you for your comment. I am not sure of the logic behind the thinking of the kidnapping concerns, but I am sure of the conversation on the subject. Duane and Bill were discussing the plan of how things would be done while re-packing their parachutes. Bill was cautioning Duane to be sure to get all the passengers off before sending the note informing the pilot that this was a hijacking. As near to a quote as I can make it without going to my notes, Bill said that he did not mind dealing with hiding for twenty years, but there was no statute of limitations on kidnapping and he didn't want to deal with it for his whole lifetime. Now, how the stewardesses, etc., get removed from kidnapping classification is not my level of expertise, remembering what was said and by whom IS what I was supposed to do, and I did one Hell of a good job. I don't fabricate this stuff, just make record of it. Bill was not a attorney, but I'm sure he knew what he had in mind. He still has you all confused on most of the facts. You even think Mac is dead… at least twice. Not. A little knowledge is a very emboldening thing. A lot is dangerous, I'm told. 'They' voted to 'wack' Duane after he blabbed to Jo. Two guys were reportedly sentenced to 20 years for hoaxing a potential magazine story about Cooper living in Fla., it you can believe Bob Shieffer's news report. And that's enough truth for a while.

Demeaning people without evidence is first nature to Jo Weber. Watch this one: Mac-Mac-Mac. It was all Mac and the other guy. Duane just did what he was told, and to the letter. Except for a couple minor screw-ups, like making it a kidnapping instead of just a highjacking, and messing with Tina. Anything for a sweet deal with his health problems. And in 1968 he liked brandy once in a great while, not whiskey at all. Carried his pocket knife in his right pocket and his bummed cigarettes behind his left ear. Loved to window peep in bedroom windows early in the morning. I caught him several times. "My real name is Duane, no "W" and no "Y", just plain Duane. Last name is Weber."

McCoy told me stories of getting the rifle out of the hotel when MLK was shot. So NOW you are claiming McCoy was involved in the Martin Luther King assassination - YOU ARE ONE WARPED individual. This is how you BUILD your stories. MORE BULL. I did not meet Duane Weber until 1976 and it was unnessary to make the comment you made. That rifle was taken during a burgarly of our home in 1988. We knew who did it as he was 'supposed' to install a fence while we were gone. Yes, I did chase that man when he passed me on 9 mile road and I did drive fast. Not a very smart thing to do. I do NOT know the source of the rifle. I did see Duane put a long object in the trunk of the Marquis and the when we traded for station wagon - the rifle came into our home. IT was the only thing Duane was concerned about as soon as he realized we had been robbed. That does NOT connect it to anyone. Absolutely NOT TRUE. I know who the man was and his name and he had a record for theft as long as I was tall - the deputy provided us with a copy of the rap sheet which we kept for a long time - this man was a local man and in no way connected to McCoy or anyone regarding this CRAP you rant about. The Ticket - was seen during the last 3 months of Duane's life - he did NOT burn it I assure you, but he did hide it and evidently in all the stuff I got rid of after he died. 1yr and 2months later when I found out who Dan Cooper was - it was gone...probably was hidden in the VAN with the other stuff he was so protective of. The hidden wallet found a few wks later by the purchaser - did NOT contain the ticket....but the purchaser also did NOT know the bounty was in $20 bills until this yr 2013 when I told him. The FBI conveniently forgot to mention to the buyer the money was in twenties. The ticket may not have been there - but in old books I got rid of after Duane died. I did the normal clean up and give away all widows do...I did NOT know who Dan Cooper was until May of 1996. Weber hated blacks like Ray and was an expert rifleman, per McCoy. 8. McCoy had Weber released into his custody from Jefferson under the name that McCoy knew him as, John Collins, Jo's maiden name. McCoy had worked with Weber before in California. 9. The dates coincide, as does Weber's arrival in Minnesota to train for Norjak. 10. A shot from the hotel bathroom was very awkward as you would have to stand on the tub. McCoy says, not the real location. 11. Joe Brown said the rifle in evidence did not match. 12. A similar rifle was kept in Weber's closet and was stolen by a fix-it repairman at the residence who Jo chased in her car at high speed, per Jo. 13. The worker was instructed to steal the rifle by McCoy because Weber did not destroy the weapon as directed by McCoy. 14. The ticket was another item Weber kept that McCoy ordered destroyed. Weber burned it, per McCoy. It DID exist and Jo tells the truth. These are facts given me by McCoy and there is enough conformation from what Jo is saying for me to make me believe what I am relating here. It is part of a scary iceberg that indicates there is a lot of dangerous information beyond just Norjak and ample reason for a very extensive cover-up. It explains the threats I have received about "dangerous" subjects. I do not care to discuss this in any more depth.

So, here is the bottom line: Blevins is 100% BULL, total FABRICATION and Shutter is not a shutter, he's a white washer.

NOW, why the hell would Weber or Cooper plant something on Mac? YOU do KNOW you maintained in the PAST the exchange was made after the crime and AFTER the tie and clip came into evidence. Mac acquired the tie clasp AFTER the hijacking. I believe it was O'Hara that made the switch in the evidence box for Mac's medallion. The medallion is well documented if you know your Cooper facts. If you watched the FBI training film on Cooper you will see basic facts. Not all the facts are told, however. Cooper did a naughty in McCoy's apartment when he stole the medallion off the dresser. The senerio was to blame the hijacking on "the boys" (FBI students at BYU) as a vacation prank. Hence the outfit Cooper wore was typical BYU attire. The medallion drop was a plant to specifically name McCoy, knowing it would be pocketed by investigators. Unfortunately there was a release of information and the medallion info got published. There was back and forth stuff with Mac and Duane. Mac could not believe Duane would 'get friendly' with Karen. That was one. The medallion was two. The pearl tie clasp was a pay-back to plant evidence back on Duane. There may have been more, but these things I know about for sure. Denny Nichols can verify as he was present when Mac told us what had happened. There was a woman named "July" (not her real name) who had an apartment in my complex who had support payment problems with an ex Army husband. She had a son in critical condition in the hospital that I understand did not make it. Mac stepped in and paid her rent for several months, had the husband, a super tall skinny guy, meet at the apartment and resolve the situation. Mac spent a lot of time helping. Mac's wife was jealous and suspicious, which I think lead to the Duane thing. July became more involved in the story later through Mac. She is still involved. Now, this is my perception of what happened and the details of the true happenings may be slightly different, but I think it is pretty close. Hope this answers your question. I would have preferred to not get into this part of the story, but you asked, and I tell the truth, so there it is. Not everything was a bed of roses. Duane was a handful.

After an incident with a state cop in the middle of nowhere, the couple is forced to seek refuge with the sergeant. They don't know he's been robbing banks for a living and plans on including them on the next one, the biggest yet, whether they like it or not. It soon descends into madness, more robberies, and murder. Ten days after they get together, they become numero uno on the FBI's top ten. Written by a woman, I expect it to do very well. 3) Doing one other book edit and converting books written by a woman's late husband into Kindle books. 4) Cleaning three homes a week and making sure the crews get out to the remainder. Not Worth Numbering: Responding to KC/DB Cooper emails, some sensible, others less so. Yeah. Doing nothing. That would be SOMETHING. I did not mean to suggest you were doing nothing, I suggested that you were creating senseless work searching tax records of someone being extra careful not to leave records. Cooper was being paid in cash, since no records was the goal. That is why it was so upsetting that the apartment accountant ran off with all the 20 rent payments of $105 each and went to Niagra Falls for a red hot weekend.
