You should leave. I think everything happens for a reason & this is your sign that it's time to move on. Never settle for a job (or anything else) that doesn't make you happy. I know this probably sounds sappy & you might think I'm a wierdo, but I truly believe if you follow your heart & try to find your purpose in life, what makes you happy will find you and the money will be there when you need it. That's the way it's happened for me so far. Good luck whatever you choose. Just come to Jersey!

I was in a relationship over the summer with a guy who lived about an hour & a half away. After a few months with him, he met a girl in a bar and, like you, was REALLY interested in her. He asked me if we could 'be friends'(aaarrgghh!) and said he thought they had so much in common & were perfect for each other. He called her the 'girl of his dreams'. Long story short, she turned out to be a total psycho and now he wants me back. I'm totally over him and refuse to be second choice, so now he's alone. Just think carefully before you do anything drastic.

I do have to admit, my parents are extremely cool. They live about 40 minutes away and I still make sure I try to visit them once a week. I enjoy their company. I don't think getting along with them will be a problem. I'm kind of worried about people thinking I'm a loser for living with my parents at my age, but I guess it doesn't really matter what anybody else thinks. I need advice! I am 29 and never finished college. I've been living on my own for 7 years. I've been taking classes for the past two years to be a Biology teacher, but it's hard to go to school & work full time. Now my parents made me an offer: move in with them, quit my full time job & get a part time job instead, and go back to school full time. I think I'll be able to save more money this way (jumps) and definitely finish school a lot faster. I'm just not sure about living with my parents again at my age. Does anyone still live at home in their late 20's?? They told me iodine for my belly button. Ten years later, never infected. And the good thing about iodine is you can just pour it on & rinse it off. You don't even have to touch the piercing while it's still sore.

Well, I made it through my first day which is quite a feat for me. I really was afraid I wouldn't be able to do even one day. It hasn't really been that bad, only a few cravings that passed relatively quickly--and another one coming now--I can feel it! AARRGH! But overall, I think I can do it, and thanks to all of you for your posts in this thread. Reading all of the advice & support out there helped me too!
