Here's mine, Sabre 150 downstairs, pd 143R upstairs...
-
Last year one guy did that at a S/L jumpmaster course, got stuck in the lines, and landed with two balls of shit above him and broke a lot of bones, allmost died... Don't recommend that...
-
'nuff said, like everyone else, I'd go with the bonehead and pro-track... Buy those, you won't be dissapointed...
-
I bought a 'sky-hat-pack' for gath, it's like the ear cover thing with a dytter holder mounted on it, then added a couple of zip-ties...very secure.. Edit --> And no drilling
-
Try this, wolmari pack, invented by a guy at our club, it's at least a lot easier to bag than a normal pro-pack..I have used that about 80 jumps, I don't roll the nose, just concentrate on the slider positioning...(never had a brisk opening since..) When you have set the slider, just put your hand in the center of it, and push it ALL the way up to the canopy... Hope this helps... Edit to add another link, hope this one works..

LOL I've heard that once from a student too...
-
As I snowboard, friends keep asking that is skysurf my favourite discipline..Like it has something to do with snowboarding..
-
Has happened to me too, a friend of mine once asked me, just when I got off student, 'so when can you be a jumpmaster ?' Some girls have been asking that tandem too...And people are always so amazed when I tell them that I don't have any money because I just spent all for a reserve repack.. 'What ? Can't you pack it yourself ?'

lol...I think that's the most common whuffo question I just remembered this...We were at a rigger with my friend to pick my gear up, and he showed some of his filmings from herc boogie...after an rw dive one of them started 'swimming' in freefall, and my friend asked, 'So that helps the forward movement ?'
-
Y'all probably heard a lot of questions from whuffos, please share if you have a funny one.. This is the most 'whuffo' question I've ever heard, a friend of mine once asked, 'can you feel the wind in freefall ?' (And he didn't mean the relative wind, but the actual wind up there) How whuffo is that ?
-
Yeah, you might not want to come here in a couple of months, but while you wait the summer, click here

Well here's few, I didn't have any 'real' pics on my computer, so I had to browse the net...enjoy.. The brunette, janina, is a model, and the blonde is a 'violin player', or at least used to be..
-
Well, basicly it's true, I just read it and found it really amusing, it's a little coloured, but it's really close to the 'basic' finn.. No time to write any more, my workday ended 8 minutes ago Maybe erno would explain more with better english...

In finland everyone (licensed or not) have to wear a visual altimeter on every jump. I think that students need to wear one, even if it's a s/l jump, they need it under canopy too, when they are planning the landing pattern, not only in freefall. It's hard to judge altitude under canopy when you have a couple of jumps.

And if you're as lazy as I am, click here
-
is this possible ? And do I need some hi-tech equipment to be able to do that ?
-
You know you're a skydiver when....

Why do the 24/7 shops have locks on doors ??
-
Yeah, I looked your profile and found freeflying as your second favourite discipline, but there were something in that pattern that made me think of freeflying.. And never ever ever underestimate the force
-
Thanks...I'm the second owner, bought it this summer when it had about 150 jumps... I like the colours too, I was lucky with that, dunno where I would have bought myself a rig if it wasn't this guy... edit --> Mr.Hixx, nice !! Somehow freeflying enters my mind when I look at that container
