Dad arrested after daughter draws picture of gun
Trafficdiver replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
One RINO does not a party make. The vast majority of right leaning politicians in the US and Canada, whether you call them conservatives, republicans or just crazy redneck nuts, support the rights of individuals to own guns. The vast majority of left leaning politicians do not. Denying that is either a form of stupidity or deceit, -

Your claim that conservatives are gun grabbers and liberals are not is far worse than feeble. It's an outright lie. -

So the political spectrum in Canada goes from ultra far left to left of center? Maybe they should sprinkle some moderate right in there to spice things up. -
Full story: Associated Press I really don't want to see the sequel to Blackhawk Down.

Awesome. This should help generations of skydiving students to come.

John Stewart's bias is again idiots or idiotic action. Of either party. When Obama asked Iran to return our drone, he went to town. It's about 90% against conservatives and 10% against liberals. He is left wing liberal, just because he every once and a while does not ignore liberal idiocy does not make him unbiased. That being said yes, there are no unbiased reporters, Tim Russert was the closest and look where that got him. Back on topic, Canada does not have a second amendment so this does not at all surprise me. -

John Stewart is unbiased. Hahahahahahahaha. Hold on...Hahahahahaha! That's good. -
Some nice jumping scenes so far, but: I was quite upset about the Nazi swastika on the plane and I bet the Jakowlev company doesn't approve of this "ornament" as well and so will a lot of older folks in Russia. Just to vent, no answer necessary. .................................................................. Why would anyone want to paint the logo of a failed political party on an airplane that was never operated by that party?????????? I could half understand painting a swastika on a restored Messerschmitt ... but cannot grasp the logic of painting a swastika on an old russian airplane????? Have I studied too much history????? It could be used for historical reenactments? Just a guess. Cool video, though I think my DZO would frown on about 95% of it.

Wow, man great job. How did you do it? Furthermore it's awesome you are doing AFF. I can't think of a better reward than skydiving for turning your life around that much. Hang in there it keeps getting better and better.

Private companies tend to go under far before they get this far in debt. This is what happens when you ignore the free market. Get ready for this in the US.

I can see how this would happen. Even skipping my student jumps for a week or two makes me more nervous. I'd have a tough time waiting half a year and returning. Exactly. Between 9000-12500 feet I'm thinking Why am I doing this? but once in freefall I'm thinking Oh yeah, that's why I'm doing this! When I'm in free fall I'm thinking "Why am I falling so much faster than everyone else?" Once I land I look at my beer gut and say, "Oh yeah, that's why." BTW, are you missing one cartoon? I seem to remember one where there were two experienced female birds and you looked at them and were impressed with how fearless they were? Am I imagining this?

All Action Sports are dangerous
Trafficdiver replied to OhioDreamsChris's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Dayum! That's scary. To take a positive from this horrible story, at least this inflatable bag might give you a chance to survive one of these...if you don't get crushed to death by a bus sized chunk of ice. -
I would have bet good money that this was a Shah thread based on the title.
-
Bingo! And yes, if you can get in a wind tunnel do it, especially if you want to skip the tandem and go right to AFF. It really helped my stability in freefall.

No wendy you're wrong. TODAY is 8 days. Good job trafficdiver. one step. one day you'll be posting of a decade of clear headedness. Gracias. I woke up this morning and was like Damn! I feel great. I remembered what I did last night and I don't hate myself or have to apologize to anyone. Weird.

I got screwed out of 15K or so when I was 23 by a builder in CT, That was the last fucker who ever screwed me out of money. If they don't want to do a credit check now I say fine. Pay me up front, when the check clears I'll come by and install the fireplace. Some things you just can't learn in college.
