Most Worthless post ever, Fucker!

Actually, that would be pretty cool of you to do. I've already got an Sfly in medium+ (since I'm fat) coming, but your suit would probably fit more people. So, unless someone releases something else between now and july, the only production suits that we won't have examples of will be the Access and the Matter2. It should be interesting to see how all the suits fly together. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Prototype of what? Ted Like a giddy school girl.

I've done 8 jumps on mine, and have had a best whole jump avg. of 48, so far, with only 4 of those jumps trying to go slow. That's not much better than I did with the classic, (51 was my best), but there's definitely a lot more forward speed there (just judging from the howling wind), and I'm still learning the suit. It's definitely a different experience from the classic Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Well, she'll just have to get used to expensive kites. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

You're on. Come find us, we'll be the guys in the funny jumpsuits. mmmmm... Birdman rodeos from casas.... Sweet... Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Then come to Salado and pay $19 to watch Bob, Voodew and I flail around the sky in our Vampires. Here's some pics of the new suits, as everyone has said, construction and fit and finish are top notch, with lots of nice little touches. I could go into more detail, but I'll spare everyone. Oh, we'll still be bitching. "Come on Doug, keep up", "is that all you've got, Doug", "I'm so tired of flying dirty for Doug", "How come Doug keeps landing two miles away". You know, stuff like that Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Hey now, Bob and I are perfectly normal. I can't help it voodew has a few wires loose. I've got pics, but they're not developed yet. Hopefully we'll get some flights in tomorrow and this weekend, and have some more info on monday, and I'll post the ground and maybe air pics, and the pic Voodew took of his nuts with my camera. Well, I may not be much taller than you, but I sure am a lot fatter. Well, bring your slinder ass out and lets see what you've got. Sure, for 1200 ft. Do you really want to get into a forward speed contest with someone who's taller, heavier, has more leg wing, has a better suit, and is a better flyer? Also, the suit is 'out for delivery' according to UPS, so it's getting delivered sometime this afternoon. Only a couple more hours to go. All joking aside, I'm really interested in seeing the performance difference in the two suits, and seeing you and Voodew fly each other's suits. Should be fun. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Q: What's always coming but never gets here?? A: My Fucking Vampire!!! This 'waiting' nonsense sucks. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

That sounds like the sort of shit someone talks right before not showing up at the DZ. Come on and lets see what you've got. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

How nice of you. Come on out to salado on friday and flock with us. We're getting our V1's tomorrow, so we're itchin' to fly. Bring that old, slow suit you've got. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

It's not a real skydive until you've got go-karts and sluts!! Ted Like a giddy school girl.

I've got 4 jumps on a demon 110, and over 600 on a stiletto 120. Exit weight is around 225. My thoughts on the Demon: First, the 110 demon is noticeably larger than the 120 stiletto, close to a 135 in size, so a 130 demon is probably bigger than you want. The Demon is made of Gelvenor fabric, so packing is easy, but it packs very big. Again, you may want a smaller size. I didn't really like the slider kill line being continuous, it seems like it could snag on a head/helmet and cause a problem. The demon gives very nice openings, all soft and only one off heading, which was my own fault. The De110 is less responsive to toggle input than my Stiletto, and riser pressure seems similar. The demon seems to dive more than the stiletto. The canopy is very stable in breaks and turbulence. It was a windy weekend, so not a lot of chance to judge swoop and landing, but my impression was that the Demon would outswoop the stiletto with the right pilot. Also, it's a cool looking canopy. Overall, there are canopies I like better, but for the money (just over a grand, last I checked) this thing can't be beat. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Whuffo 911 calls are the best! I'm the most offensive hook turner on my dz, which is adjacent to a highway, and I've had 3 911 calls in the 4 years I've jumped there. One of them was a woman calling and reporting that she'd seen someone landing 'attached to a go-kart' . All we can figure is she saw me landing with my wingsuit and got confused. One of our pilots had 9 calls on him from landings. One guy called the cops and swore he had seen the plane 'strike the ground, burst into flames, and explode'. Getting one call in just two jumps is pretty good, though. I'm going to have to try to pick up the pace. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that your cables were cut, but we had a discussion a while ago about trimming cables, and that pic is a great example of what can happen in the air, and why the excess is there. As Saskia said, check the other end of the LQRS, down by your foot. Pic with notes attached. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

I'm thinking 'listen to Ed' . Arm position in 'geekin.jpg' needs some work. Try to rotate your elbows forward so that you're getting pressure on the whole leading edge of your wing. Also, look at your cables in that pic. That's a good example of why you shouldn't trim your cables too short. Leg position is not optimal, but I'm guessing that's due to trying to slow down and fly with someone lighter. Decpticons rule. Flight6.jpg is better, but the legs could, of course, be straighter. Stow your lqrs cable. In flight8, you've got your hands below your body. Try to keep them straight out from your sides. The same arm position "elbow roll" thing is still there. Fix that, and you'll be much more comfortable straightening out your legs. Also, your head is pretty far up, probably to geek the camera, but that wrecks the airflow over your back and can hurt performance. Try tucking your chin a little and see if that helps. Anyway, as En Vouge, said, "fix your arms and the rest will follow". I think that's what they said, anyway. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Fuck pantz. Bring a blade. Everybody else is bringing cutting edge stuff. Even if the prototype doesn't fit you, it'll still fit me or voodew. It should be ready by July, right? Ted Like a giddy school girl.

For anyone who is interested and qualified, Paul is sending us the Sugar Glider demo for the boogie as well, which should fit anyone between 5'8" and 6'1", and hopefully we can get some flocking in with it, too. There's going to be a pretty wild assortment of suits there, looks like. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Voodew, Bob and I will be there, of course. Looking forward to more tailgate flocking fun, High altitude loads, helicopters and balloons, Oh My. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

I did 4 WS jumps with the floating handle this weekend, and had no problem grabbing it, and no other deployment issues. It also stayed secure all weekend. Packing is a little more difficult (very little) and I had one problem: the cap popped off the film canister 'handle' when I was sitting on it in the plane. Still no trouble deploying, but I'm going to glue it in this week and solve that issue. No lost film canisters, either. So far, so good. Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Maybe if you ask nice, they'll let you jump it on your recurrency jump Ted Like a giddy school girl.

Yeah, Voodew jumped it out of a U206, and I went out of a 182. I didn't really dare try to climb out, the suit was inflated pretty well in the plane, so I didn't want to take the risk. I think this excess inflation is due to the suit being mono wing, and having a very large leg wing inlet. There's really no way to choke off the inlets, like on the multiwing suits. I'm not really sure why this thing even needs a leg inlet, actually. I just dove out, and it was fine. No additional challenges from the suit. If we've still got it this weekend, and I can get more jumps on it, I'll try climbing out. Should be interesting. Ted Like a giddy school girl.
