To downsize or not to downsize?

I got my sabre 1 150 when I had 60 jumps, I weigh 75KG naked... at first I thought it was great to fly , quick, flare power etc... After 10 jumps I got bored... It was a tractor... Felt very confident on it. Wanted to downsize. Then I took the canopy course in Empuria with Reinier, started to learn how to fly it... my tractor was catching speed... Finished the course a few months later and passed to another step... Crosswind, 90 degrees and final on front risers... WOOOOOOOOW... the tractor can be a racing machine... Happened to me a few weeks ago... brainlocked on final, diving hard on front risers... some obstacles... let go the risers MUCH too late and immediately got on the brakes to shorten the pendulum radius... the most I've seen is velcro... Babylon guys use an elastic band with a kind of ball, attached to the rig, they pass the ball over the slider and into the elastic you can maybe try to catch the rings (grommets ?? ) between the risers, sometimes it does the work correctly ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

like everybody says, to have 2 audibles I know people who jump with 3... and with wisual reference (a LED connected to the audible) too(speed skydivers)when they go low, the helmet turns into a discotheque... only the multi mirror ball and the smoke are still to be added... sometimes you may not hear it, so 6 alarms instead of 3 might help... ---------- Fumer tue, péter pue ------------- ourson #10, Mosquito Uno, CBT 579

Sounds like you are describing "Gypsy Moths" with Burt Lancaster and Gene Hackman. I've tried to forget I ever wasted the time watching it. I think that's the one... but if you've ever jump a round, some of the images are incredible... the wingsuit part is not so good though...
