    C++ help!!

    These are simple questions - simple answers. 1) int is strictly for a whole number (-1,0,2,3) double is a floating point (decimel) number (1.1, 1.0, -6.3, 122.4) etc. 2) I think the answer you need like metioned before is precendce, but think forcing order of operation for math. Ex: 1 / 5 + 3 * 2 = 6.2 Is different than 1 / (5 + 3) * 2 = 0.25 Is different than 1 / ((5 + 3) * 2) = 0.0625
  3. When we are done with wingsuit AAD's can we make an canopy flare device too... you know just in case.
  4. Im looking at Glock 21, 30, XD45 or XD45 compact... I like toys too. Found a new local range that has fully computerized targets. Can program it to go x' distance, rotate in out of view, roll back, fwd, stop what ever all in a timed sequence. It was awesome. They allow rapid fire indoors too... I didnt think Id be able to find another hobby more expensive than skydiving... I was wrong.
  5. Some companies have compassion, but it seems generally the larger they get the less they care. Regardless, it is an uphill battle for a claim that is not entirely legit. Put an add on craigslist and see if you can trade for local skill. D
  6. Wait your kid head butted the tv and you expect warrenty support?
  7. I dont think many people would be willing to have kids to get an 18 year payoff. Itll cost them so much more than that raise the kid for the first 18 years...
  8. BBC News Article The head of the Catholic Church in Mozambique has told the BBC he believes some European-made condoms are infected with HIV deliberately. Maputo Archbishop Francisco Chimoio claimed some anti-retroviral drugs were also infected "in order to finish quickly the African people". The Catholic Church formally opposes any use of condoms, advising fidelity within marriage or sexual abstinence. Aids activists have been angered by the remarks, one calling them "nonsense". "We've been using condoms for years now, and we still find them safe," prominent Mozambican Aids activist Marcella Mahanjane told the BBC. The UN says anti-retrovirals (ARVs) have proved very effective for treating people with Aids. The drugs are not a cure, but attack the virus on several fronts at once. The BBC's Jose Tembe in the capital, Maputo, says it is estimated that 16.2% of Mozambique's 19m inhabitants are HIV positive. About 500 people are infected every day. 'Serious matter' Archbishop Chimoio told our reporter that abstention, not condoms, was the best way to fight HIV/Aids. "Condoms are not sure because I know that there are two countries in Europe, they are making condoms with the virus on purpose," he alleged, refusing to name the countries. "They want to finish with the African people. This is the programme. They want to colonise until up to now. If we are not careful we will finish in one century's time." Aids activists in the country have been shocked by the archbishop's comments. "Condoms are one of the best ways of getting protection against catching Aids," said Gabe Judas, who runs Tchivirika (Hard Work) - an theatre group that promotes HIV/Aids awareness. "People must use condoms as it's a safe way of having sex without catching Aids," he told the BBC. Archbishop Chimoio, who made the remarks at celebrations to mark 43 years of independence, said that fighting the disease was a serious matter. "If we are joking with this sickness we will be finished as soon as possible. "If we want to change the situation to face HIV/Aids it's necessary to have a new mentality, if we don't change mentality we'll be finished quickly," he said. "It means marriage, people being faithful to their wives... (and) young people must be abstaining from sexual relations." Our correspondent says the archbishop is well respected in the country and the Catholic Church played a leading role in sponsoring the 1992 peace deal that ended a 16-year civil war. Some 17.5% of Mozambicans are Catholic.
  9. Well gee thanks... They arent on the same page granted. But you get a case or two of meningitis and everyone runs out to get there kids vaccinated. But make it a STI and all the sudden it is hush hush and taboo. Your daughters have a HUGE real life risk of contracting HPV and as a direct and severe result of such the high possibility of getting cervical cancer. The CDC estimates 6 million americans contract HPV annually. World wide, somewhere in the ball park of 1/2 a million women are diagnosed with HPV induced ceervical cancer. But a little vaccine could address this issue... but since it is an STI - Nooooo, its taboo. My point, yes meningitis is bad, and preventable, but of the bad preventable issues also out there, a little more focus may need to be addressed to some other issues. I dont loose to much sleep over an illness that affects 0.5-5 cases per 100,000. I do on the other hand draw concern over an illness that affects nearly half of the sexually active persons in the college age range.
  10. ...and as relatively uncommon as meningitis is, some 40-50% of the same college age group who are sexually active have HPV and people are still fighting vaccinating young women against it... When will we learn?
  11. Check out Pablito's, he has stitched around the plastic trim of the goggles to keep them from falling apart. Ask him to see next time. That should do the trick. ;)

  17. I say we kill people who wish to kill people without justification. We have a system of justice here, prove him guilty first, then cast stones. Remember the Duke kids? How many men have been accused of rape and through some maricle - evidence to the contrary was found to proving innocence? Likewise many many people have been unjustly and wrongly accused of Im sure every crime imaginable. Granted, in all likely hood he is guilty, but for christs sake, let the court sort it out.
  18. Flew into Kalamazoo today for work... fucking pilot woke me up by landing the damn aircraft.... how dare him.... I do sometimes think, if this plane broke up in mid flight, and I was thrown free from the cabin concious... would I fly on my head or in a sit?
  19. Between a good inspection and me being a mechanic/handyman Im not terribly worried. There arent many jobs I cant tackle myself.
  20. People bought into mortages that closely resemble Vegas economics. They gambled and they lost. Now Im waiting for these foreclosed homes to hit the market so I can buy a wise investment. Buying a home that is now undervalued because interest rates are up and the market is flooded. A good friend of mine, a money guy, told me 2 years ago "Just wait Derek, all these people buying on adjustable mortages right now are going to loose there asses and most of these houses will be back on the market in foreclosure." It wasnt exactly a huge shocker that this happened.
