  1. OK, I can't watch that more than two times. She gave it a quick test flare, but it hardly moved. She buries one toggle or the other a few times. The canopy hardly responds at all (?!). Was that a tired, clapped-out, older Tempo that's too porous from so many repacks? I've never flown a reserve. They're not all like that, right?
  2. You Lucky Bastid... Some people have to drive 2-3hrs each way to get to a Cessna 182 DZ. You've got seven within easy striking distance. If the vibes at all seven are truly "Fantastic" & "Unbelievable"? We may have to hunt you down, & pie you to within an inch of your life on general principle. Dr. Ruth would tell you to follow your heart, & bring plenty of KY jelly. Sounds like good advice. Good Luck w/that. Ya Bastid...
  3. I was just teasing you. Where are you going to jump, at the Space Center in Florida? They should give you a new cannula, still sealed in the plastic. If they don't? Insist.
  4. Depends. Was she wearing a Hoodie? Everyoneknows people who wear hoodies are evil sociopathic criminals. Just ask commander Zimmerman...
  5. Look out for boogers on the cannula... Have Fun .
  6. Yeah, that took long (like about a minute)... You are a Troll. We are done. Get it?
  7. Dunno, Mama. It depends. Who is the Swag Bag? Maybe she's a sexy cocktail waitress?
  8. "So, tell us how they *really* work, Pilfy. I'll have my sister, who has been the recipient of 3 kidneys and a liver over the last 35 years, verify it with her doctors and the transplant registry." The discussion isn't medical. It's political. I'm not going to argue politics (or anything else) w/someone who is confrontational & loves to troll. Play ignorant to decades of obscene political corruption all you like. As far as I'm concerned, no smoking gun needs to be found on this one. It quite simply is what it is.
  9. If you're that well-informed about transplant surgery, then you know that the organ goes to the best match, not the most important patient. If you're that unaware of how things really work? This conversation is already over.
  10. "I like that about you." You too, Lisa . As far as a corrupt, aged, former higher up, in a govt. that's out of control? "We hold these truths to be self-evident..." After far too many years of systemic abuse. They're all now guilty until proven innocent. I haven't even researched this. I don't need to. How many patients die every year waiting for such a transplant? I've seen cardiac patients post-transplant after 25+ years. How old is he? How many patients far younger than he were passed over w/that donor organ? Where did it come from? You think he actually paid for all of it? You think you'll actually find the truth to those last questions, Lisa? Lotsa Luck to you. All you'll find are more Washington lies.
  11. Wow! That's pretty cold. Any evidence to back up this? Did it cost us? Or did he have health insurance to cover it just like every other ex-VP? Oh, come on Lisa. Government Welfare TROGs never pay for anything themselves. Again, any evidence? Plenty. Just look at the myriad abuses carried on over the years by his type of Hill Trash...

  13. Square One has the GoPro mount for their helmet's visor.
  14. Looks like double Ds to me. OK, in that case. I'll vote.
  15. It needs a reline after only his claimed 200 jumps? There are punctures in the skin? This, in addition to the UV damage? I'd stick w/the $600 demand. TBH, I still wouldn't want it.
  16. Meh, Kids ... WHERE'S THE BOOBIES?!?! The headache means nothing. Neither does the two hour drive. The headache will either not come back, or go away w/successive jumps. The two hour drive will become nothing more than a minor nuisance.
  17. Why not take a week's vacation, & finish your license here: http://www.skydiveempuriabrava.com/index-2.html I feel for you on the weather thing. Just remember, sitting on the ground beats getting slammed into it by funky winds, any day. Find out the best aviation weather sites for your area, & use them. Good Luck.
  18. You're talking to the wrong guy. My surgeon advised me not to fix mine w/surgery. The jury is still out on the OP.
  19. Oh Shit.... A free clinic??? For orthopaedic surgery???? PM on the way.
  20. Clicky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYRMzIPxyfQ&context=C4ea0c67ADvjVQa1PpcFOyzyR36us-4-mZyE6PEpRFvZP4Yxy7LVM= Hi Barry, Nice yob. Two things, though: 1) You didn't look scared at all on the ride up. Students are supposed to look worried...VERY worried. Try & work on that, Mkay? 2) Don't land on your Butt bone! It's connected to your back bone. Bad things can happen that way. I'm sure they already told you. PLFs are your friends. Congrats on dropping the weight. Welcome to the sport. Have Fun
  21. Hi, My A cost about $2400 all said & done. I'm sorry you plunked down cash before doing a bit more research. You have other options. For example, The Farm would only charge you about $1700 for the same thing. They're very good. Accommodations are cheap. You could do the whole thing in less than two weeks. You also probably have options for doing a lot of this through the military. Good Luck & Have Fun w/whatever way you choose.
  22. "When you're the instructor putting your family's home and livelihood on the line with each and every student, then you can come tell us whether you think you should be required to say yes to any student physically capable of skydiving." Hi Dave, Nice Avatar . You're twisting words a bit. I never said anyone who is physically able to jump, should. In this case, an otherwise proven-capable gentleman was declined only because he can't hear. That is an entirely different scenario than what you suggested.
  23. 727?! I thought they had a DC10, & it hasn't flown for years?
