Is this guy's left eye bigger and higher than his right eye???? This ad is on my yahoo account every time I check my mail. For some reason it really freaks me out.

He was flooded with about 50 emails calling him a theif when he tried to sell it on ebay. He really wants to cooperate and is not interested in selling stolen gear. He has checked and the much older canopy is not listed as stolen anywhere that he can see. He would like to know if it is okay for him to repost the item for sale, or if he should wait longer. The canopy is an XL cloud by para-flite with a serial # T 5635. Is it okay for him to repost this item for sale?? What does everyone think??? I think it's okay if nobody has responded and it is not listed as stolen.

Sounds like this guy had a bad day! Nice guy though. Here is one of the two emails I received back from him. Serial number included... I have had alot of emails on this chute saying it may be stolen . Its not a sabre but an XL cloud by para-flite. I assure you i havnt stolen it. it was brought into my shop on sunday . If you know who i can contact on this i would app. it very much The serial # T 5635 Please let me know ASAP. Thanks for your time. JIM

I got my coach rating so I would become a better mentor for newer jumpers and so I could give back to our community. My dz does not pay coaches... at least they didn't last year. And those that I have coached have been friends and I have not considered charging. I don't think there is any harm to the program. Just my opinion.

Right on Phree. Honestly, it really drives me nuts when I'll ask someone to jump with me, and when I say "Okay so what're we going to do", they say "We're gonna get out of the plane and fuck around". I hate it when people don't at the very least go over the exit and have a goal on the dive, as simple as a single dock or just having smooth control of proximity. It can be anything, just as long as there is something to be learned or worked on. I think Phree needs to come play with us at Tecumseh for a weekend. What do you think?

Thanks, Michele! I needed to hear that! The discoloration had me concerned. I hate the doctors, hence I did not go last night. But I definately toyed with the idea. It's really freaky when something happens to something as delicate as your eyes and as important as your vision. I think I'll be okay. Just a bit nervous.

Yeah... burns like a biotch is an understatement. That was excruciating!!! Like satan payed my eyeball a visit. The discoloration is on the white part of my eye. I couldn't see it... my sister described it to me. She said it looked horrible. No surprise by the way it feels.

Hey, Girl! Can't wait to meet yah!!! As far as I've heard... the Casa is coming home (their normal season jump craft) and they will probably have an otter. Also, there will be freefly coaching/organizing by the Gravity Pirates. That's all I remember... selective memory I guess.

update! my vision is starting to clear! think i'll be okay! thanks for all the vibes and stuff in PM... guess it helped. no seeing eyedog for me! but i think i'll still be the dz drunk! So, I've been wearing contacts for about 15 years and never had a problem until last night... I had been doing laundry and cleaning all night. I went to pop my contacts out like I do EVERY night... and as soon as I made contact with my right eye, I thought I was going to die. Must have had bleach or some other checmical still on my fingers. I was instantly blinded and my eye was on fire! It swelled closed right away and I pryed it open and flushed it with cold water for about an hour till it seamed I had gotten most of the chemicals out. Once some of the bloodshot-ness went down, you could see that my eyeball was discolored... blue and greyish, like it was bruised. This morning, my vision is still very blurry in that eye. In fact, I really can't see much at all. My eye is very puffy/swollen. I'm going to the eye doctor after work. Anyone ever have anything like this happen to them??? Is this a normal reaction?
