    Out in CA, Cary Peck said that we would try to get a group together and go around to the different state records going on this year (Fla, Ill, TX), so that we could get a solid inner core of the formation together.     Congratulations from me too! I was also on the POPS Texas night 10 wayand was getting a little tired of all the pressure of being the only person on both the day and night record. but rest assured, we will get it back!!!!!!!!

    Stupid, tasteless question.... 35 people killed yearly skydiving. 3000+ people dying from the heat in France which is safer - skydiving or living in France??

    I sat next to a Shannon from Tennessee in the right otter during the POPS jumps last week. She brought life saver candy for us during the ride up to altitude. She made herself sit rather uncomfortably because two guys down the bench seemed to be taking up too much room - and she didn't complain. She let me put my arm over her shoulder and then put her arm up on the guy next to her, so that I could rest my hand on her arm. She always gave the oxygen guy a good gear check after he laid on the floor to turn on our oxygen. She never once complained about anything while on the ride up. What's the chance that there were two Shannon's from Tenn?? What a sweet lady. I hate to say it, but I don't normally get too choked up when a jumper goes in..........this time I cried. bob hunter skydive houston
