as a medic my guess would be fractured ribs or torn cartilage around the rib. if it were muscle, torn or strained it would have a burning sensation. go get checked out quick because rib issues could lead to fluid build up in your lungs from not expanding your lungs due to pain

I'm new as well, but hanging with the guys and doing my own reserch. In no particular order. Javelin, vector, infinity. But like I said I'm new too take it for what it's worth.

I have a j5 and the smallest I can fit is a 210. If u email sunpath they have quick responses.

Thx for the info mark, I just received an email from sunpath. I sent them the s/n# and they sent me any info on alterations the have done in the past. Sunpath replaced to tabs on the shoulders back in 06 and the tab on the reserve cover. They had no record of the bridle cover that was added, so I assume the rigger did that mod. I'm sending it into sunpath this morning for inspection.

Thx for the info guys, but the more I inspect this rig the more goodies I'm finding. Since one of the owners of this rig was a rigger, think he solve most the the problems. The shoulder riser tuck tabs are extra stiff, the reserve pin cover has tuck tabs on the side as well as the bottom. There is a pocket the leads into the boc pouch so no part of the bridle is exposed. I'll post pictures soon so u guys can see it.

Can someone tell me what makes a 93 javelin not freefly friendly. i just bought one for 900 bucks with a 1997 raven 2 reserve. the container has no velcro all tuck in tabs. it look brand new, like it was just out of the box, no dirt no fading, rips, tears. i keep reading jav's were not FF friendly until 1997 but when i put mine next to a 2000 jav it looks almost identical. i know i'm not ready for freefly yet this is my first rig and it is only a question. i plan on putting spectre 210 in it for a main

Hey guys I think I'm getting a good deal can anyone help me figure out if it is. What the most u would pay for a 93 javelin j-5 c-18 container with a 97 sunpath percision 190 reserve/w no jumps, container in exelent condition. No aad or main. I may be able to pick it up for 900$. Help me out guys please.

you will make friends quick, but you wont be jumping with anyone until u get your A license at around 25 jumps. I tried talking my friends into it without any luck. But hey its their loss. but i feel comfortable hanging at the dz and chatting with everyone before i jump. you will be fine.

jump 6 done, got to follow my instructor out while doing a double flip, then tracked and docked with my instructor twice on the same jump. man this is great, monday is jump 7, i cant wait to start paying less for these jumps.

just got jump 4 and 5 completed, i'm moving ahead of the game. jump 4 i exited on my own completed 2 back flips and a 360. landed on 2 feet 10 feet from the bullseye. jump 5 i did a diving exit on my own got stable did a front flip then docked with my instructor. landed in tumble weed this time though. i am so addicted.

Multiple AFF levels in one jump?

I just did aff with one instructor for all my jumps -
i had to wait an extra month because my buddy said he would do it with me, then he backed out, so i waited for nothing. anyway good luck the anticipation killed me but it was worth it, i took the time to read the skydive handbook and sim over and over. u are in for a treat

jumps 2 and three done, my instructor said i was a natural, i guess even 3 minutes of tunnel time helps, almost got jump 4 in but the wind picked up.

before i ask, i know i'm as new as they come and i shouldnt buy any gear until i get my license. but Man the jump suit i jumped smelled like complete ass, and the goggles i had on were so scratched i could barely see. would i look like a complete ass buying my own jump suit while i was in aff or just upon completion. i already bought my own goggles, i dont see the harm in that.
