Who cares what this guy "knows?" The scipture clearly states that nobody knows. Furthermore, I believe I can apply the following scripture to any similar non-sense: Matthew 24:26-27: “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. The bottom line is that when it happens, then we'll know. No reason to get more crazy then we have to be. Could you please quote the scripture where in states that nobody knows that the solar system will line up in the galaxy, which "may" increase the potential for more powerful than normal solar flares, which could knock out our communications and powers supplies ? That was what the article talked about, but instead of reading it, you just assumed you knew what it said. It doesn't talk about the world ending, but you are so ready to defend you thoughts, you didn't even read it, did you ? If you did you would know it had nothing to do with the world ending. I'm amazed at how people will drive by large (20" x 15" ) US flags laying in the streets and gutters after July 4 and Flag Day etc....I have at least 3 that I have stopped to pick up after literally thousands of cars have driven past. Not cheap plastic flags. Nice cloth flags. If I can see them, they can see them. They have fallen off cars and bikes of the Americans who wish to fly them, but when they get away, somehow they aren't worth going back for. I'm not concerned about people burning the flag. Minimum tread depth on tires is like minimum opening altitudes....right now your son is just reaching for his pilot chute at 1000 ft. . Buying used tires ( which are sold almost wore out ) brings his PC pull altitude to around 1800 ft.....still too low. Hopefully he has an AAD......Get new tires and make him pay for them. I always wear gloves...newmann tackified are not what most knowledgeable jumpers use, they are too expensive for how fast they wear out, and the tacky stuff tacks dirt which is an abrasive... and that gets transferred to your lines, which wears them out faster. I use a 12.00 pair of Nike batting loves for summer, had the same pair for two years now...and slightly heavier mechanics gloves for winter, I don't see them EVER wearing out! It's funny how Square One only carries two brands of gloves....Their own brand SQ1..for the educated group and Neumann's Tackified for the truely uneducated jumpers that just don't get it. ....I mean...according to you of course.
