There is a study guide for the B and C test in the back of the 2004 SIM. It lists the important sections of the manual to look at. Hope that helps.. Pete

I have done 4, 6, 7, 15, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, and 39. I went fishing in the Florida Keys but we didn't catch any Marlin. Mostly Mahi Mahi. Wrong time of year but it was still really fun. Pete -
Yeah!!!!!!!!!! I loved the old Otter! Yeah!!!!!!!! PS The King Air isn't bad either. Pete

That little MAC was the first machine gun that I bought about 5 years ago. It is ok to shoot but not real easy to hit stuff with. I don't shoot it anymore since I got my Sterling. I can hold the Sterling like a Pistol and put a whole magazine into a pizza box at 25 yards. I would say that the slowfire converted MAC 11/9s are the most controllable MACs.

1 a bunch of pistols. 2 a Sterling MK4 submachine gun 3 a MAC11A1 .380 submachine gun 4 an M16 5 a couple other rifles and shotguns 6 a bunch of .22 rifles I had three suppressors but the sherriff won't sign off on them where I live so I had to sell them. Pete

I am a die hard Glock fan. I used to think that nothing made of plastic could be any good but I ran across a Glock that was too cheap to pass up. I shot it for a while and found it to be a very no nonsense tool that would not malfunction. I carried a SIG at the time but have since sold my SIG and gotten two more Glocks. I even have a Maritime Glock 17 that fuctions flawlessly underwater. Not that usefull but really cool and a great testament to the weapon. BTW the SIG 228 is a little lighter and more compact than the 229. Both great guns. Pete

I hooked a gay pride flag to the back of a coworkers harness when we were working at the X Games in San Fransicso. He had it on for about five hours and was really pissed when he found it. A lot of the other guys kept saying "Gay Pride!" to him for most of the time that he had it on his back and he couldn't figure out why. I laughed and laughed....... Pete

There is a little more to converting an AR-15 than just dropping in some M-16 parts. It takes someone with a mill and drilling fixture to relieve the lower to accept the full auto stuff. The way that I look at it is that it costs much less to pay $8500 for an M-16 than to stay in the federal penn for ten years a count. Machine guns are huge fun. This is the time to buy. All of my class 3 guns have more than doubled in value in 4 years. (I bought my first machine gun for $550) PM me if you need help buying one. Have Fun!!! Petey
-
You pay the $200 tax on the registered part of the machine gun. On my M-16 the registered part is the lower receiver. I can replace or change around any of the other parts just like on any other gun. Some other rules such as putting a short barrel on it do not apply because it is a machine gun. By the way, I haven't seen a transferable Uzi go for less than $3500 lately. Pete

Noise suppressors or "silencers" are perfectly legal to own and use in the USA provided you jump thru the hoops to get one. If you want to buy one I suggest that you check out subguns.com and look on their recommended dealer listings for a dealer near you and contact them. They can walk you thru all the steps to buying a NFA item. I live in Texas and have three machine guns that fall into the same catagory as suppressors do. I must warn you that collecting class 3 or NFA stuff makes skydiving seem like an inexpensive hobby. Have fun! Pete

Nice job. I hope that she does not need to have any more assistance of this kind again. I am glad people like you are keeping an eye on folks up there. Pete.

I used to work at the X-games and remember the last year that they had Skysurfing. It was in 98 IIRC. I wasn't into Skydiving then and the opinion of the higher up's was that it only appealed to people in the sport. Also there is not nearly the real estate to show the sponsor names. They were super anal about that. Someone put a Mountain Dew sticker on a snowmobile the crew was using and Nike made them take it off cause they didn't have one on it. I am a little bitter about the X-games as they decided that they could replace my crew with twice as many day laborers and still save a bunch of money. Anti-union Bastards.

Ralphs Number is 800 200 jump. I ordered a Hornet two weeks ago and he had a bunch more coming in when I talked to him.

I know that there are multiple stages. I think it is skeet, thenpistol, then rifle and then SUBMACHINEGUN. I really want to go and try my luck at the chtue and shoot, but I think that you need to have your "D". It looks like a lot of fun. Pete

I am going to go with a 210. I am going to contact PD and see what canopies will fit in my J4k container. Thanks for all your replies. Pete
-
A 230 won't fit my container. I have a J4K oddessy. It says in the specs for the container that it will fit a 190 but it will also fit a 210 tightly. I have had a 190 Spectre in it and it fit fine. I think that a 210 Horrnet or Sabre2 will fit but I don't think much more can squeeze in it.
