I remember you. I was one of the people that found you in the vineyard after your freefall collision. You had about 25 jumps when that happened right? I also remember you doing a couple jumps after your injury. Have you been jumping alot in Seattle? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

If you don't have an A license, in a few months, you'll need more then a H&P to get current. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com -

On the 400way, the fomation was designed to have small alley ways in between each whacker/sector. Should something happen to you on exit from the C130 or you get taken out during your approach to the formation, we could fly up this opening and still dock in our line. Completion of your line was essential for the record, but not your exact slot in your line. No, we could not dock anywhere we wanted on the formation if we got lost looking at the other 410 people in the air with us....... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

I was thinking the same thing. But if I were him, I'd still get some better instructors........ Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Sounds like you had some great instructors..... On a L2, your instructed to pull should your instructors not be in control of you, and obviously they weren't. This time things worked out in your favor. IMO, for the rest of your training, I'd find someone more qualified to instruct you though.... A good Instructor will should give you the next level dive flow after you have completed a level succesfully. Having it set in your mind during the week, between your jumps, helps considerably. If you should have to ask what your next level dive flow is for the level, dont be affraid to before they run off to the next student...... Good luck Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

For discussion - definition of a complete wingsuit formation
bodypilot1 replied to unclecharlie95's topic in Wing Suit Flying
IMO, I find the formation shape is more essential then having the formation be slot perfect. I try to set up a secondary slot should another flocker get to the formation before the person they are set up behind. They can only move to the slot that is straight forward of them, should it be unfilled. Then I'll give the less experienced flocker a chance to fly the forward slots and not have to trail behind. If it's slot perfect and they get taken out on exit, ending up far below the formation, they can still sometimes recover and set up in their correct line or secondary slot. There's many ways to build a formation, sometimes waiting on someone to fill their exact slot leaves an odd shape, or picture, for the flyers to visualize when the formations are larger then say 8-10. Colds suck...... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
