  1. Robi you used white stitching on my purple and black V2, does that mean you don't love me? Isn't it the same "signature series" V2 as Tony has Glen? The west coast loves ya Bro, white stitching and all.... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  2. I didn't jump any gun or mis-speak. Maybe you should go back and re-read my post. Nowhere did I ever say it was unsafe. Simple canopy aerodynamics during any FJC, on why a parachute flies forward instead of backward, can be explained in minutes. Jumping something you know nothing about can kill you in seconds. 3. Haven't jumped at MPC since 96/97. Just sold Dave a wingsuit last week though. Where are you going to start jumped again at? Gear and other things have really changed since you been gone. PM me if I can help you out with anything to get you back into the air. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  4. No fuckin way! What's up Tim? You gonna fly again? Still living by Perris? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  5. Can anyone elaborate more on this? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  6. Yes. Did you jump a round on your first jump? My course involves 2 working tandems. Alot can be explained during the canopy control while under canopy. You can ask a few of my past students that post on here about the information I give and how simple it is to understand. My FJC isn't just hours of information and we jump, like some courses. They learn the dynamics of how and why it flies as we go through the first 2 jumps, then as they progress into the AFF portion, they learn how it can malfunction and how to deal with it. My ground FJC, after they complete 2 sucessful working tandems, takes about 2 or so hours, and then we dirt dive the AFF dive flow and jump. The whole, "lets get this guy in the air so I can make more money and move on to the next student", isn't what my "private" course is about. It's one on one instruction with thourgh comprehension. Simple questions during the training will let you know if they are comprehending the simple aspects of what your teaching. Having students jump just because you have finished your first jump course only leads to a student lack of knowledge and possible an injury or worse..... And as far as them forgetting to pull? That's what I'm there for. How many AFF jumps do you have Dave? If you have any, you'd know that not too much is going through their head at pull time, but lack there of........ 7. We aren't flying rounds during our first jumps anymore. Simple aerodynamics of why it a canopy goes forward is explained in a few minutes and is very easy to comprehend. It's never to much to learn as much as you can BEFORE you risk your life under something you know NOTHING about..... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  8. Hey, just helpin a Brother out! Couldn't be better. Hope all is good with you Kimmy...
  9. You must have had a great FJC, huh? You also stated in a past post, "Okay I'm a bit obsesed with safety as you may know from my other posts." If your jumping and still asking these questions, maybe you need to take your FJC again, or get a better instructor to teach it?....... 10. I have a 96 Velocity you can jump Mic. It's just a tad bit faster then the 150 your wanting to jump...... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  11. Bill is more then willing to sell the used gear you learned on, ask him. Excluding the staticline gear, the Icon and Infinity containers along with the Triathalon canopies are the best student gear setup's I have ever seen at any DZ. He can also order you a jumpsuit to your measurements. Renting his student gear for the $35 get's you the rig/helment/altimeter/gogles/jumpsuit/packjob and your lift ticket to 13K. You couldn't ask for a better deal. Other then that, your best bet is a drive over to Byron and see Bonnie at Gravity Gear.

PeteS took them all out for him. Avery said it fly's the same, but he was jumping with a couple of faster falling birds. I hope to get more input from him when I have the chance to fly with him. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  13. Have either you or Chuck jumped a Prodigy? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  14. I think the cube root of his pinkness makes his facial tissue constrict to a value equal to his enjoyment of life, therefore causing his incisors and canines to be shown to the air that passes beneath him..... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

  20. Did you do that with Terry Goode? He showed us some tapes of when he did similar training for the PJs. Some of it was kinda scary looking. Yep, I think Terry cried alittle bit....... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  21. Well there ya go... For that price it should have included the jet.... Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  22. Yes. I trained some military PJ's a couple years ago to get tandem ratings. We had to use a BlackHawk. They are qualified at 200 jumps to gat a tandem rating. After the training was done, they were taking 375lb barrels out the door I posted pics of it on here somewhere. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  23. I think he would love that in the sky, but it would probably suck coming in for a landing.. I have had to land with my toes pointed before on one foot, do to a compressed/crushed heal. It's not difficult to do at all. He'd probably want a larger canopy to not have so much forward speed. Having to run out a fast landing may suck though. Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  24. Would there be any way to make the foot stay pointed? Or, maybe abapt something like a bracket that would attach to the foot and ankle area before you zip the leg up, making the foot stay pointed so you could get full body tension of the suit? Be safe Ed www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
  25. Nice! Since he's in your area Scott, why dont you give him some pointers to work on and train him? I even see an old buddy Jeff in the second pic.
